NOTION巴生工廠失火

（吉隆坡3日訊）NOTION集團（NOTION,0083,主板科技組）營業額貢獻比重約10%的巴生工廠不幸發生火患，90%產能暫時報銷，所幸無傳出人員傷亡消息。

該公司發文告說，火患是在上月31日下午4時發生，消防局和保險代表目前仍在調查起火原因，估計100台電腦操控（CNC）機械因此報銷，公司目前仍在計算財務損失。

文告補充，公司已展開緊急補救工作，包括重新訂購和復原生產設施，嘗試在4個月內重新安裝產能。（星洲日報／財經）

The Company regrets to announce that a fire had occurred at a rear building of its main manufacturing plant in Klang, Selangor. The incident affects both the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company, Kaiten Precision (M) Sdn Bhd ("KPSB") and Notion Venture Sdn Bhd ("NVSB"). The plant belongs to NVSB and is located at Lot 6123, Jalan Haji Salleh, Batu 5 ½, Jalan Meru, 41050 Klang, Selangor. The fire started at about 4pm on Monday, 31 December 2012 during normal working hours. No injuries had been reported. The fire department and insurance representatives are still conducting investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire. A site examination revealed that a section of the factory premise was gutted by the fire. The number of computer numerical control ("CNC") machines lost were about 100 CNC machines out of a Group inventory of 1,500 CNC machines. The affected area is 21,000 square feet out of the main plant’s built up area of 400,000 square feet. There is also substantial damage of goods of KPSB and NVSB that needs to be ascertained. Nonetheless, these assets (i.e. CNC machines and goods) are adequately covered by insurance. Insurance coverage has also been taken for consequential business loss. The Company, with its insurer is working to ascertain the extent of the damage. An assessment on the financial impact caused by the fire is being carried out and the Company will make further announcement of the financial impact to the Group. There is a temporary loss of capacity of about 90% for KPSB which contributes about 10% of the Group's revenue and some disruption to certain operations of NVSB. The Company is taking urgent steps to start rehabilitation of the affected building, waste water treatment plant, air conditioning, emergency ordering of auto lathe machines, Quality Control equipment and other measures to try to recover the installed capacity within 4 months. （吉隆坡3日讯）诺申集团（Notion，0083，主板科技股）巴生厂房新年前夕遭火灾，影响两家子公司产能及营收贡献，分析员因此下修盈利预测和目标价。

诺申集团向马交所报备，巴生主要制造厂房12月31日发生火灾，影响独资子公司Kaiten Precision（简称KPSB）和Notion Venture（简称NVSB）。

大火造成的损失包括100架数控机床（CNC），建筑面积40万平方尺的厂房有2万1000平方尺受灾。

诺申集团已着手修复厂房、空调和采取其他措施、尽速在4个月内恢复KPSB产能；NVSB则需要1个月。

据悉，KPSB短期内失去90%产能，而NVSB部分业务也受波及。

两家子公司占集团营业额63%。两家子公司仍有大量货品需要点算，但大部分资产都有投保。

影响供应链
拉昔胡申研究分析员指出，虽然有保险理赔，但供应链难免受影响，无法准时交货将连带影响客户关系。

他下调2013财年净利预测7.7%，目标价则下调至83仙。

丰隆投资研究分析员亦下调诺申集团营业额预测，继而下修2013至2015财年每股盈利，分别降低28.1%、21.6%和1%。

他估计，股价近期内将持续受压，所以调降目标价13.3%，从1.05令吉至91仙。

肯纳格投资银行下修2013财年盈利预测9%，从4930万令吉至4470万令吉，2014财年盈利预测维持5300万令吉。他也下修目标价至0.78令吉。[Nanyang]

诺申巴生厂房火灾 初步损失5010 万

（吉隆坡14日讯）诺申集团（Notion，0083，主板科技股）公布其巴生厂房在新年前遭火灾的初步损失计算为5010万令吉，并已呈报给保险理赔员和保险公司。

报告未出炉
文告指出，保险索赔正在处理中，这需要耗一段时间，火灾起因仍在调查当中，有关当局的调查报告结果至今仍未公布。

诺申集团指出，Kaiten Precision的运作还在复原中，而NotionVenture已恢复至接近全面生产，大部分受影响的地方已恢复运作，以及受影响机械检验部也移至附近的厂房。

至于有关商业中断的保险赔偿还无法确定，需要等待厂房重建和全面恢复运作后才可确定。

该公司指出，其厂房的下一步是抢救和搬离受损害的机械和设备，再展开厂房重建。[南洋财经]

Kaiten Precision (M) Sdn Bhd (“KPSB”) is in recovery stage whereas Notion Venture Sdn Bhd (“NVSB”) is back to near full capacity except for a bottleneck at the affected washing line. NVSB has also resumed operations of the double lapping section and wastewater treatment plant and has relocated the affected Visual Mechanical Inspection section to a factory nearby. The business interruption insurance claim cannot be ascertained at this moment until the reconstruction and full resumption are completed within the timeline announced earlier. The next stage is to salvage and remove structural debris and damaged machines and equipment before reconstruction can commence. The Board will make further announcement whenever there is new development on the physical recovery as well as any significant financial impact on the insurance claim. （吉隆坡21日讯）诺申集团（Notion，0083，主板科技股）旗下产业保险承保公司———大马东京海上保险公司（Tokio Marine Insurans（M）Bhd）或因前者厂房火灾、被索赔4500万令吉而遭受重击。

《Malaysian Reserve》报道称，保险领域业者透露，大马东京海上保险公司是诺申集团的承保公司。不过，该保险公司不愿证实此事，也不回应是否有再保险相关风险，抑或有其它再保险公司。

诺申集团1月2日向马交所报备，称巴生厂房遭大火吞噬；稍后公布火灾造成的损失，初步估计高达5010万令吉。

针对大马东京海上保险公司需赔偿数额，一切得看承保的保险金额以及再保险金额。再保险有助保险业者管理风险，可代吸收部分损失。

在大马市场，部分保费必须自愿转让给马国民再保险（MNRB，6459，主板金融股）独资子公司———马国民再保险有限公司（Malaysian Reinsurance Bhd）。

在最糟糕的状况下，若大马东京海上保险公司承担所有保费，减除5%的自愿转让率，该公司将得赔偿高达4500万令吉。[南洋商报财经]

首季核心盈利料疲软　NOTION集团最坏已浮面

（吉隆坡14日讯）NOTION集团（NOTION，0083，主板科技股）2013財政年首季核心盈利表现料將疲弱，但已在市场预期之內。

该股在三个月內下滑28%，已反映电子產品销售下跌以及去年杪发生火灾的影响，相信最坏的情况已经出现。       

业绩低迷意料中

NOTION集团將在2月21日公布2013財政年首季业绩，马银行金英投行分析员预计，其核心净利的按季比较將显著低迷。

这是基於其销售料按季下跌25%，受平板电脑和智能手机的竞爭衝击，影响以硬碟为主的电脑销售。

同时，约5000万令吉的潜在火灾损坏註销，或导致该集团面临亏损局面。

另外，NOTION集团的厂房有35%產能用以生產相机零件，目前已恢復生產，但全面恢復或需耗时4个月。

同时，其他设施如研磨、最后清洗和水务处理设施已重新组装，主要工厂现在將近產能全开。

NOTION集团的销售订单在2012年8月达到高峰，但此后就转为下跌，尤其是硬碟业务。

希捷（Seagate）预计短期內的硬碟出货量表现平平，不过表示下半年会反弹，因该公司將推出供平板电脑使用的硬碟，冀望NOTION集团可把握此机会。

分析员维持NOTION集团盈利预测，相信其首季核心每股盈利將下跌17%，且尚未计算一次性的火灾损害亏损。

当保险公司批准该集团对损坏资產和业务中断作出的保险赔偿后，今年后期料有部分回拨。

上调投资评级

再加上NOTION集团已逐步恢復营运，因此，分析员上调该股评级至「守住」。

不过，现阶段的全球硬碟销售展望依然疲弱，分析员將NOTION集团合理价格下调至0.76令吉。[东方日报财经]

砸千萬進軍航空油氣　NOTION 2年內轉虧為盈

（吉隆坡20日訊）NOTION集團（NOTION，0083，主板科技股）將撥1000萬令吉的資本開銷，進軍航空及油氣領域。

NOTION集團董事經理朱永康表示，合作對象仍不便透露，因一切仍在商討階段，僅表示該油氣公司是一家歐洲公司，而NOTION集團將為該油氣公司提供機械零件服務。       

他續稱，目前而言，進軍油氣領域只是一個起點，為集團帶來的貢獻料不會十分明顯。NOTION集團執行董事朱永安也稱，進軍新領域需要時間來達至成熟階段，料會耗6至9個月，或是1年，屆時才會慢慢看見貢獻。朱永康及朱永安是在第9屆股東常年大會結束后接受記者的訪問。

朱永康披露，選擇進軍油氣領域的主要原因是，油氣領域無需大量的勞動力，所需的是擁有純熟經驗的工程師。他進一步解釋：「有鑒於最低薪金制的執行，因此我們嘗試進軍一些賺幅較高的機械工程業務。」

NOTION集團計劃將生產過程遷至泰國，而油氣領域業務則主要仍會留在大馬。朱永康說道，這是因為在大馬比較容易聘請有經驗的工程師。

該集團仍放眼取得新客戶，他舉例：「汽車領域對我們而言，也是另一個正在成長中的領域。」

當被問及會否考慮進軍平板電腦領域時，朱永康僅表示不會是現在，但不排除未來生產平板電腦零件的可能。

儲存硬碟需求將復蘇

朱永安相信，儲存硬碟（HDD）的需求將會在未來2至3年復蘇，前景料轉佳。「一旦儲存硬碟領域的需求回彈，加上相機業務尚有不俗的需求，我相信我們在未來的1至2年內，或可轉虧為盈。」無論如何，他補充，一切仍取決於經濟狀況。

朱永安不認為儲存硬碟是個夕陽領域，需求走弱主要是因為經濟放緩。他解釋，現代人都愛上網、看影片、瀏覽面子書等，這些都需要高數據存儲。值得注意的是，以數據儲存而言，儲存硬碟是最便宜的。

NOTION集團的工廠於去年杪發生火患，目前產能已恢復至60%。朱永康說，要恢復至100%的產能料需另外3個月的時間。「我們已訂購了機器，需要3個月的時間送抵。」

該集團目前仍有提供零件予尼康（Nikon）及三星（Samsung）。[东方日报财经]
