Proposed renounceable two-call rights issue of up to 1,526,559,774 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in Mulpha at an indicative issue price of RM0.50 per rights share of which the 1st call of RM0.30 is payable in full on application in cash and the second call of RM0.20 is capitalised from the company’s share premium account, on the basis of one rights share for one existing ordinary shares held at an entitlement date to be determined later.

于昨日宣布发附加股筹资逾3亿令吉的马化国际（Mulpha，3905，主板贸服组）今日表现大热，成为场内第二大热门股。

马化国际昨日表示，计划透过一配一方式发售附加股，筹集总值高达3亿5340万令吉，以偿还债务。 在发售附加股计划下，马化国际建议以1配1方式，发售15亿2655万9774股附加股，每股参阅价为0.50令吉。

马化国际今日低开稳收，早盘以下跌0.025令吉至0.50令吉的价位开市，在获得扶市力量后企稳。截至全日闭市，马化国际报0.525令吉，无起落，全日2784万3000股易手。

The Board of Directors wishes to confirm that Mulpha has written to Bank Negara
Malaysia ("BNM") to seek approval to commence negotiations for the acquisition
of an interest in shares in EON Capital Bhd.
The Board of Directors notes that it has been Mulpha's long term stated
strategy to gain greater exposure in the Malaysian financial services sector
and diversify from our property businesses.
The application to BNM is required pursuant to the Banking and Financial
Institutions Act 1989. This is a standard application process which may or may
not result in any outcome.
This announcement is dated 27 January 2010.
