Taiwan's Delta group plans solar cell plant

Taiwan's Delta Electronics is to spend 290 million US dollars on a new solar cell plant as the island moves to increase its use of renewable energy, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday. Delta Electronics' investment, via its subsidiary DelSolar Co, will make it one of the main players in the island's rapidly evolving solar energy sector, said Austin Chiu of DelSolar. "After the project is finished, we'll become one of the biggest solar cell manufacturers in Taiwan," she told AFP. The plant will be located near the city of Chunan in northern Taiwan and will be completed within three years, she said. "The profit margin won't be too high compared with some electronics products," she said. "However, the demand for products like solar cells is expected to keep rising because of concern about global warming." Taiwan's government said in December it plans to boost its use of solar panels by a factor of 200 over the next 15 years in an effort to increase clean energy. Solar panels across the island currently have a capacity of five megawatts, enough to power 500 buildings, but by 2025 that figure is targeted to rise to 1,000 megawatts, the Bureau of Energy said.

再来,这个BONUS又是怎样解释呢?
有规定几时买进才能得到分红吗?还是有注明要持票到什么时候才能得到分红吗?

KKB 涨到很高，输不起。如今我只好找第二选择CMSB
,因为CMSB持有20% KKB的股票，再加上CMSB已回落〉20%。

KKB 5 给3 的 Bonus 除权日在24/5。 也就是说在24/5 5pm 之前买进KKB都有红股分，25/5买就没有的分。
假如说，你24/5 持有 5000 units （5 lots）， 25/5 那天就会变成 8000 units （8 lots）= 因为 5 lots 送 3 lots 。
25/5 那天也是1 lot split into 2 lots 的日子。 你的8 lots （RM1 底）会被1分为二，变成16 lots （RM0.50底）。
当然在split（一分为二）了之后，25/5 的开市价将是24/5收市的一半。譬如24/5 收 RM8.00 ， 25/5 将会以RM4.00开市。

    有误 !!!!

      A.      1 LOT  = 100 UNIT  不是 1000 UNIT ......
      B.      如果你有 8000 UNIT , 8000 分红4800 unit ,
               一拆二 是以你原有的 8000 UNIT 计算 , 就是 16000 UNIT
               不能将红股加入后 , 再除 2 .....

               所以 , 一共有 4800 + 16000 UNITS

今天收市价 RM6.90 x 1000 lots = RM6,900,000.00 ?  
还是 1000 unit = 1 lot , RM6,900.00 ?

3:5 的 ratio 是 0.6 = 每1,000 unit 送你 600 unit = 1,600 unit 咯. 或 每1 lot 送你 0.6 lot = 1.6 lot.

如买 2.5 lots 将送你红股 1.5 lot = 4 lots, 一撤为二后成 8 lots。 （ 酱紫会比较容易卖叻）

我也有误。
我一直以 1 Lot refer to 1,000 unit 的叻。 我的 1 lot = RM6,900

这只股之前5送3红股，股价折价Rm3.81，之后再每股RM1变成每股RM0.50(2:1 split)，最后新价大约是RM1.90...
发红股后第一天，股价一路从RM1.98跌至RM1.77再跌至今天RM1.50，过去52星期最低价是RM1.49。
1st Quarter Revenue 2010 vs 2009 = +123%
Profit after tax 2010 vs 2009 = +203%
EPS = RM0.2364 (RM0.0766 in 2009)
Dividend issued in May 2010 = RM0.15

无论怎么看，虽然这支股在没发红股和split之前，曾经和去年同期的RM1.63相差不远，之后一路暴涨至高峰RM7.22，可是这是一支成长股，盈利每年持续增长（除了2008年小幅减低），2009年盈利更是暴涨235%。
而今年税后盈利更是比起去年同期，再暴涨203%。
第一季的税后盈利已经是去年总盈利的54.8%了，小弟真的很看好这支股会持续增长。。。

有错的话请纠正小弟，小弟才初学习中罢了。。。

未来的股价是需要靠公司是否能够持续保持创造这样特出的业绩来推动的。个人觉得如今的股价已经到位。
