（吉隆坡27日讯）税务支出增加，拖累国油气体（Petronas Gas Bhd）第二季净利下跌1.26%至5亿290万令吉，一年前为5亿933万令吉。然而，季度营业额上扬。

国油气体今日向大马交易所报备，调整递延税务是为了反映柔佛边佳兰液化天然气再气化厂所获得的税务奖掖，这导致相应季度的税务支出减少。

截至今年6月杪第二季（2019财年第二季）营业额增至13亿8000万令吉，之前为13亿6000万令吉。

“集团营业额增加1.6%或2200万令吉，主要推动力来自公用事业和天然气加工营业额增长，这抵消了天然气运输和边佳兰液化天然气再气化营业额下跌所带来的影响。客户需求增加和燃气价格上调，推高了公用事业营业额，而天然气处理营业额上涨，是因为在第二期天然气加工协议调高了预订费用。”

现财年首半年净利上涨至10亿2000万令吉，一年前报9亿9255万令吉，营业额则从27亿1000万令吉，提高至27亿5000万令吉。

展望未来，国油气体表示，根据20年天然气加工协议的第二期协议（2019至2023年生效）所调高的固定预订费，集团的天然气加工业务有望获得更多盈利。

该集团还注意到大马天然气运输和再气化关税对其收入的影响。

“能源委员会在2018年12月31日宣布，批准今年试点监管期间的天然气运输和再气化服务关税。虽然预计关税将影响集团今年的运输和再气化业务收入，但预计这两个业务将继续对集团的收益做出积极贡献。”

国油气体在另一份文告中表示，集团计划派发每股16仙第二次中期股息。除权日和支付日期分别落在今年9月13日及27日。

（吉隆坡18日讯）国油气体（Petronas Gas Bhd）截至2019年12月31日止第四季净利按年狂飙61.4%至4亿8527万令吉，一年前报3亿59万令吉，得益于联营公司提高盈利贡献、未兑现外汇收益以及基金投资的利息收入增加。

惟季度营业额从13亿8000万令吉，微跌至13亿7000万令吉。

每股盈利则从15.19仙，弹升至24.52仙。



国油气体宣布，在截至去年12月杪财年派发每股22仙第四次中期股息（总值4亿3530万令吉）以及每股10仙特别中期股息（总值1亿9790万令吉），付款日期为3月26日。

国油气体在2019财年净赚19亿4000万令吉，比2018财年的17亿9000万令吉，按年增加8.4%，但营业额微跌至54亿6000万令吉，2018财年报54亿9000万令吉。

展望未来，国油气体表示，能源委员会已经批准天然气运输和再气化服务的第一阶段监管期气体收费，有效期为2020年1月1日至2022年12月31日。

“预计新收费将影响集团的运输和再气化业务部门收入，但预计这两个部门将继续为集团的收入做出积极贡献。”

“根据为期20年的天然气加工协议第二阶段（2019至2023年），预计集团的天然气加工业务将保持稳定，因为有强劲和可持续的收入流。”

截至早盘休市，国油气体持平于16.22令吉，市值达320亿9000万令吉

Reference is made to our earlier announcement dated 31 December 2018. The Board of Directors of PETRONAS Gas Berhad (“PGB” or “the Company”) (“Board”) is pleased to inform that the Government of Malaysia through Suruhanjaya Tenaga vide its letters which were received on 19 December 2019, has approved the Incentive-based Regulation (“IBR”) Tariffs (“Tariffs”) for the Regulatory Period 1 (“RP1”) for the following facilities under PGB group of companies: i) Peninsular Gas Utilisation (“PGU”); ii) Regasification Terminal Sg Udang, Melaka (“RGTSU”); and iii) Regasification Terminal Pengerang, Johor (“RGTP”). The Tariffs for RP1 which will commence from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022 are as follows: Facilities IBR Based Tariffs PGU RM1.129/GJ RGTSU RM3.455/GJ RGTP RM3.485/GJ Notes: GJ means Giga Joule. The RP1 Tariffs are also available at PGB’s website. The RP1 Tariffs are not expected to impact PGB’s business operations. While the RP1 Tariffs are expected to affect the Group’s Transportation and Regasification business segment revenues during the RP1, both segments are anticipated to continue contributing positively to PGB and its subsidiaries’ (“Group”) earnings. Prior to October 2017, he was the President & CEO of Pacific Northwest LNG (Canada).Leading up to the VP of LNG Assets post, Adnan was the VP of Global LNG Projects overseeing numerous PETRONAS key domestic and international LNG projects. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Egyptian LNG for 4 years and CEO at PETRONAS Ammonia, having spent almost 10 years in the petrochemical facility in various senior management roles. He also served in PETRONAS Fertilizer Kedah and ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer, building his career from when he started there as Trainee Engineer in 1984.Some of his most notable achievements include leading the completion of the first floating LNG plant in the world, PFLNG SATU, and its relocation from Kumang, Sarawak to Kebabangan in Sabah. Working experience and occupation

Abdul Aziz bin Othman was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of PETRONAS LNG Limited since February 2020. With over 33 years of experience in PETRONAS, he has held numerous management portfolios. These include General Manager of Centralised Utilities Facilities (CUF), PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB), Chief Executive Officer of Vinyl Chloride Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Head (Strategic Planning and Ventures) PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad. Before his current role, he served for three years as the Vice President (Strategy and New Ventures), PETRONAS Energy Canada Limited. He started his career in PETRONAS as an engineer in PGB responsible for the Peninsular Gas Utilisation Project implementation. During this period, he was involved in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Gas Processing Plants 2, 3, 5 & 6. After a short stint in PETRONAS Gas Business Unit from 2000 until 2004, he was reassigned to PGB as the General Manager of CUF as well as a member of PGB Management Committee in 2005. Under his leadership, CUF achieved high reliability and safety record supporting the strong performance of the downstream petrochemical plants.Since 2020, he has been serving as a board member to several PETRONAS wholly owned companies like PETRONAS LNG Limited, PETRONAS Liquified Natural Gas Sdn Bhd, PETRONAS Energy & Gas Trading Sdn Bhd, PETRONAS Trading Corporation Sdn Bhd and PETRONAS LNG (UK) Ltd.

Description	FINAL INVESTMENT DECISION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW GAS COMPRESSOR STATION PROJECT
1. INTRODUCTION Pursuant to Paragraph 9.03 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”), the Board of Directors of PETRONAS Gas Berhad (“PGB” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has on 8 December 2021 approved a Final Investment Decision (“FID”) for the construction of a new gas compressor station project. 2. NEW GAS COMPRESSOR STATION PROJECT (“PROJECT”) As part of PGB’s Gas Transportation business, PGB will be constructing and installing a new gas compressor station in Kluang, Johor, which is aimed to increase the gas capacity of Peninsular Gas Utilization (“PGU”) II, particularly in the Southern region. The additional gas capacity resulting from this Project is aimed to spur the growth of gas demand in the Southern region from various industries and provide security of supply to the existing gas users in this region. This Project is targeted to be completed and commissioned in Quarter 1, 2024. 3. TOTAL INVESTMENT COST The Total Investment Cost (“TIC”) for the Project is estimated at MYR460 million. 4. SOURCE OF FUND PGB will utilise its existing Islamic financing facility from RHB Islamic Bank Berhad to fund the Project cost. 5. EFFECTS OF THE PROJECT The Project does not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of PGB. There will be no material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share of the Group and gearing for the financial year ending 31 December 2021. 6. INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS, MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND/OR PERSONS CONNECTED WITH THEM None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of PGB and/or persons connected to them, have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project. 7. DIRECTORS’ STATEMENT PGB’s Board of Directors is of the opinion that the Project is in the ordinary course of the Company’s business and is in the best interest of the Company. 8. APPROVALS REQUIRED The Project is not subject to the approval of shareholders of PGB or any relevant authorities. This announcement is dated 8 December 2021.
