Description	TERMINATION OF PERUMAHAN PENJAWAT AWAM 1 MALAYSIA (PPA1M) PROJECT DI ATAS PT. 12837, PRESINT 18, PUTRAJAYA
Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 4 December 2015 in respect of the acceptance of appointment by the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TRC Land Sdn. Bhd. (“TRCL”), as a developer for the 1Malaysia Civil Servant Housing Development (PPA1M) from Perbadanan Putrajaya (“PJC”) at Precinct 18, Putrajaya (“the Project”) for a gross development cost of RM292,741,302. Pursuant to the above appointment, TRCL and PJC entered into the Development Agreement dated 24 July 2017 (“the Development Agreement”). The Company wishes to announce that TRCL had on 25 February 2019 received a three (3) month notice of termination from PJC dated 22 February 2019 concerning the Project (“the Termination”). The Termination was made by PJC pursuant to Clause 26 (Termination on National Interest) of the Development Agreement. The Company believes that the Termination is consistent with the Government’s new initiatives to consolidate the development of affordable homes under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (“KPKT”). The Termination is not expected to have material impact on the earnings, net asset, and gearing of the Company and the Group for the financial year ended 31 December 2019. 1.0     INTRODUCTION The Board of Directors of TRC Synergy Berhad (“TRC” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd has awarded a contract for main builder’s works, encompassing architectural, civil & structural, mechanical and electrical works for Phase 1 of the group’s proposed mixed development project in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, comprising two (2) blocks of 18-storey residential serviced apartments (Block 3A & 3B – total 648units) on a 8-storey podium consisting a 7-storey car park (1-storey car park for park and ride) and 1-storey related facility on Lot PT35597, Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang, Mukim Damansara, Daerah Petaling, PJU 1A, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya (“the Contract”) to Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd. 2.0      THE CONTRACT VALUE The Contract Value is RM135.0 million. 3.0      DURATION OF THE PROJECT The Contract shall commence on 16 April 2019 for duration of 30 months and is scheduled to be completed by 15 October 2021. 4.0      FINANCIAL EFFECTS The transaction does not have any effect on the issued and paid up share capital of the Company and does not have any material effect on the earnings or the net assets of the Group at the transaction date. 5.0     DIRECTORS’ AND SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS’ INTEREST None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company or person connected with them have any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the transaction. 6.0     STATEMENT BY DIRECTORS TRC Board of Directors is of the opinion that the above award of contract is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the company. 7.0     APPROVALS REQUIRED The transaction is not subject to the approval of shareholders of TRC or any relevant authorities. Description	WITHDRAWAL OF THE NOTICE OF TERMINATION BY PERBADANAN PUTRAJAYA
Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 4 December 2015 and 28 February 2019 in respect to the appointment as developer and subsequent termination of Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1 Malaysia (PPA1M) Project Di Atas PT. 12837, Presint 18, Putrajaya, currently known as Pembangunan Perumahan Penjawat Awam Malaysia (PPAM – DALUR) (“the Project”), which was previously awarded to the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TRC Land Sdn Bhd (“TRCL”), by Perbadanan Putrajaya (“PJC”). TRCL was appointed as a developer for the Project for a gross development cost of RM292,741,302. The Company wishes to announce that TRCL had on 25 September 2019 received a letter of withdrawal of the termination from PJC and therefore PJC and TRCL in principle agreed to resume the Project pursuant to the development agreement executed earlier by both parties, subject to the finalisation of certain terms such as the completion date of the Project. Further to the announcement made on 05 September 2017 by the Company on the award of Package TD2 – Construction and Completion of Johan Setia Depot (Phase 2) and Associated Works for Construction and Completion of Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia (“the Project”) by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (“Prasarana”) to the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (“TRC”), the Company is pleased to announce that a Supplemental Agreement was signed by MGK and TRC on 06 March 2020 (“the SA”).
