The Company refers to the announcement on the unaudited 4th quarter results ended 31 December 2018 (“4Q 2018”) released to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 28 February 2019. The Company also makes reference to the Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2018 (“AFS 2018”) submitted to Bursa Securities on 29 April 2019. Description	Olympia Industries Berhad ("Olympia" or the "Company") -  Valuation of Investment Properties
The Board of Directors of Olympia wishes to announce that it has approved the incorporation of a fair value loss of RM18.0 million (net of deferred tax adjustments) in the unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended 30 June 2020 arising from the valuation of Menara Olympia and the adjoining leased car park located at No. 8, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur ("Properties") of Dairy Maid Resort & Recreation Sdn Bhd ("DMRR") as at 30 June 2020. DMRR is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The net book value of the Properties as at 31 December 2019 was at RM300.0 million. The purpose of the valuation is to reflect the fair value of the Properties as at 30 June 2020 in accordance with the requirements of the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards ("MFRS") 140: Investment Properties. The fair value loss will result in a decrease of RM0.02 in the net assets per share of the Group. The valuation of the Properties using the Investment and Comparison method, was conducted by an independent valuer, Knight Frank Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“Valuer”) on 28 July 2020. The Valuer had ascribed a market value as at 30 June 2020 of RM280.0 million on the Properties. A copy of the valuation report is available for inspection at the registered office of the Company at Level 23, Menara Olympia, No. 8, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur during normal business hours from Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) for a period of three (3) months from the date of this announcement. This announcement is dated 28 August 2020.
