（吉隆坡18日讯）产业发展商吉星机构（Crescendo Corp Bhd）耗资1300万令吉，收购位于新山的一块地皮，以发展出租给吉星国际学院（Crescendo International College）学生的公寓。
吉星机构独资子公司吉星教育私人有限公司（Crescendo Education Sdn Bhd）持有吉星国际学院的55%股权。
该集团通过吉星教育向Panoramic Housing Development私人有限公司收购上述地皮。
吉星机构向大马交易所报备：“此次收购预计将支持和加强集团在教育业务中的地位。”
该集团补充说：“预期将为集团核心业务活动的长期盈利作出贡献，包括产业发展及楼宇建筑。”
