京都-白川乡自驾疑问

明年二月会在日本过新年。行程中也包括了白川乡。看了京都-金泽-白川乡的巴士行程，真的很麻烦。所以决定自驾。想请问各位有经验的大大，京都-白川乡-大阪的过路费大概多少钱呢？各位觉得自驾如何为？我们四个人，刚好一辆车。之前有纽西兰雪地自驾的经验。谢谢!

less than 10,000 yen, I drove from Toyama to Kyoto (approx. 4 hours +)

if you rent a car in japan, you can request rent the ETC Device and ETC Card, this card will discount for every toll.
they will charge you rental cost about 370 yen +, if you plan to drive a lot in highway then better rent the ETC card.

很谢谢你哦 想问问租用ETC需要充值才能用吗？ （像我们的Touch and go那样）如要充值，要怎么做呢？很感激，爬了很多Blog都找不到类似的资料。

ETC card no need to top up money.
They will charge to your Credit Card, or else when you return your car that time the Car Rental Shop will print out the detail list for your ETC card using charges (sort of our Telephone Bill Statement), then only pay with your credit card (no need to pay by cash).

If you are using ToCoo Car Rental website, they provide renting ETC Card Service
If not you can straight away e-mail to your Car Rental Shop to ask them rent together with the ETC card for you.

welcome, besides just to remind you to compare the renting cost and the saving cost.

my case, TOTAL Toll fee 39,000 ++ yen for my japan ETC Card usage, my cost saving is more than 5,000 yen hehe

不好意思哦，再问问你几个问题。我刚刚收到了Tocoo的回信，信里是有reservation number的。信里面写了这句：

Please inform us your International Drivers License Number,when it is confirmed.

因为订车的时候还没做国际驾照，打算出发前一个月才去做。那我是否还要回信和他们confirmed我的booking呢？还是现阶段booking已经confirmed了？

第二个问题是车子可以租有ETC machine的，但是ETC卡会在日本邮寄给我的对吗？看了Tocoo的网站好像不能在租车中心拿的。

第三个问题：日本的油价怎么样呢？大大花了多少油钱？

Hi,

1. Intl. Driving License, Tocoo very flexible, you can tell them you not yet get. - they not really concern your Intl License
    your Intl Driving License will use ONLY when you want to take your rent car (eg: Toyota, Nissan etc...)
   The car rental shop will go to photocopy your license then only give you the car.


2. ETC card you may rent from Tocoo or Car Rental Shop
    From Tocoo - They will leave the card at the Airport's Post Office then you just pick up when you arrive (if you arrive during night time or Sunday then have to check the Post Office opening hour) - my case is because of Post Office close during weekend, therefore my ETC card rent from Nissan.
    From Tocoo - If the Airport Post's Office not convenient for you, then Tocoo can post to your Hotel (you have to ask your hotel to keep for you the postage from ToCoo) - Personally I think not secure, language barrier problem.
    From Car Rental Shop - you can straight away search the Car Rental Shop Website then put an Enquiry for them together with your Tocoo Booking number. Ask the shop rent the ETC Card together when you take your vehicle. Their charges is same as Tocoo.

3. Fuel Price
  Depends which type of car you rent. I rent Nissan Lation 1.5L (due to boot space and fuel efficiency), the fuel price average 163yen per little for 20km avg. (Red color fuel). For Fuel consumption, Tocoo provide the data for each vehicle also. You may take a look and estimate the distances.
Tips for you, don't use Toll's Fuel Station, their fuel charges rate is Higher.

假如没遇到 点灯日子 在山上看的到夜景吗 。。

我明年也会去看，合掌村点灯，（日前是17日1月2015） 开始。 我也是租车子去日本玩，丛京都会开去合掌。

那你会租那家公司的车呢？我订了Tocoo的，两天加雪胎、京都拿车大阪还车、加ETC卡、英语GPS要23，652yen。也不知道合理不合理。

我租nissan车子，nissan公司。我没有租（雪轮胎），也没有租EtC。我会开小路，希望有惊喜在小路。我在北海道的时候已用过日本highway了（夏天），没有车子的北海道highway，小路也很少车子。

我租4x4车子会比较安全。不要开很快。日本基本上在比较乡下的地方，车子比较少。highway也只能开80-90km/j。 小路可看风景和小惊喜开60km/j。 没有很多差别。
