不要忘记，bursa, 去年最低的价是 8.00

讲个故事。这已经是我第二此投机Bursa (没错，我承认我是在投机)。

第一次投机是一年前，我于27/02/2007以RM10.90的价钱买进Bursa，想要contra，可惜Bursa大跌，我没有持票能力，所以于02/03/2007以RM9.90的价钱卖出，亏钱了，哈。。。

一年后 (25/02/2008)，我很巧合的又是以RM10.90的价钱买进Bursa。这次我打算持有一年，博今年Bursa能达到RM15。

我要报仇！！！

有趣的是，如果一年前我没有卖出Bursa而继续持有，虽然这一年内Bursa曾经冲到RM16.90，可如果我还是没卖，那到今天我就回到原地 (除了得到RM0.60的股息)了。那长期投资的意义是什么呢？我看到董事啊基金啊，在RM13-RM16的价钱卖出，我是不是应该坚持我的长期投资的理念？有趣有趣。。。

我是 10.40 买进的 ， 可惜Bursa大跌， 我努力持有 .  RM8.00 的时候没有加码。 一个月他就到 12.40  赚了RM2 .00 不过只是 买200units 不多！
我感觉要大起， 可是弟弟却叫我放了， 没法，放了！ 隔天 上到 15.00

如果我的资金很多。我会留几部分。第一部分买RM10.90，之后再看。可惜我资金不多，所以一次过买RM10.90，我博：
1. 我国牛市还在；
2. 如果牛市还在，我相信Bursa能达到RM15。

至于短期内Bursa会不会跌到RM8，这就不是我的考虑范围了。。。

PS：要注意我的投机期是一年。

未来泛欧交易所拓展合作 2008/02/01 12:56:30
●南洋商报

大马交易所和纽约泛欧交易所（NYSE Euronext）在科技领域合作密切，并不排除在未来拓展合作关系。

然而，尤斯里却不愿对马交所，是否正和纽约泛欧交易所进行股权洽谈，发表意见。

他说：“我们和纽约泛欧交易所的合作向来密切。目前使用的衍生产品与股票交易的系统，及即将推介的衍生产品直接入场设施，都是向该公司买入的。”

此外，为发展区域系统及产品，马交所已和该公司有近3至4年的洽谈，甚至还为建立平台成立联营公司，但这项计划却被搁置。

“由于他是我们的科技伙伴，所以我们很了解他们。”

至于该公司是否和其他伙伴洽谈联盟计划，尤斯里回答：“我们早前已公布在洽谈的对象，目前没什么好补充。”

马交所虽不愿对策略伙伴一事多谈，却表示该公司有意和区域交易所探求合作机会，建立整合式的东协市场。

“我们有兴趣的，都是发展较成熟，而非刚上市的交易所，若机会来了，我们将抓紧机会。”

（吉隆坡4日讯）为了提升业务效率及功能，大马交易所今日宣布，该交易所于今年1月1日起，重组组织架构，包括简化主要功能及业务活动。

大马交易所总执行长拿督尤斯里通过文告说：“新组织架构主要目的是要进一步加强大马交易所的能力，以让其业务表现持续及增长，达到更大成就及满足股东及客户的需求。”

根据该交易所发出的文告，新的组织架构主要分成5个成分：（一）大马交易所总营运长奥马美立坚将带领大马交易所的业务及市场发展、监管交易所业务、市场及产品发展等策略。

（二）总监管长沙花拉尼拉斯雅将进行交易所里活动的监视及执行惩罚。

（三）总市场营运长迪瓦尼山依瓦森将负责管理交易所的核心营运活动，包括市场的控制、清算、结帐及保管、营运风险管理，及资讯服务。

（四）总财务长娜兹阿都拉昔将负责大马交易所的企业服务。

（五）总资讯长姚锦强（译音）则负责资讯及系统部，专注于资讯系统及基本建设的发展。

与迪拜黄金与衍生交易所合作 马交所发展衍生产品市场 2008/01/16 13:33:51
●南洋商报

（迪拜15日讯）大马交易所（Bursa，1818，主板金融股）和迪拜黄金与衍生交易所（DGCX）签署谅解备忘录，合作发展大马及联合酋长国的衍生市场。

根据文告指出，通过上述备忘录，双方将拥有一个平台，以分享知识和探讨潜能的策略产品发展计划，即有利于两国的资金市场。

迪拜黄金与衍生交易所主席阿末苏莱彦说：“这项协议允许我们能以新产品和现有产品，探讨两区内，尚未渗入的机会。”

“与大马交易所的备忘录，正符合我们与全球主要的交易所建立合作关系的策略。”

另外，也出席在迪拜备忘录签署仪式的大马交易所全球市场主管拉比尔表示，这项合作为双方提供了一个用于发展各自强项，以及产品，如棕油、黄金、原油、塑胶和其他衍生产品的平台。

他说：“双方将在这专业知识分享中皆受惠，因大马交易所是期货交易的全球市场，而迪拜黄金与衍生交易所则是中东主要的交易所。”

加强区域领导地位

至于市场参与者的好处，迪拜黄金与衍生交易所总执行长马尔康指出，与大马交易所联盟，该中东交易所能进一步加强其在衍生产品交易内，区域领导方的地位。

“因此，我们将能为市场参与者提供新投资，以及价格风险管理的机会。”

第4季净利涨73% 交易所派发25仙股息 2008/02/01 12:56:30
●南洋商报

大马交易所（Bursa，1818，主板金融股）在截至2007年12月31日止的第四季，取得4千948万9千令吉的净利，比前期的2千858万6千令吉上升73.12％。

大马交易所发表文告指出，第四季营业额上扬21.8％至1亿零320万5千令吉，前期为8千473万6千令吉。

在截至2007年12月31日止的全年业绩中，该公司取得2亿4千零62万5千令吉的净利，比前期的1亿零810万5千令吉剧增122.59％；全年营业额则从前期的3亿零194万3千令吉，增加62.93％至4亿9千196万8千令吉。

马交所总执行长拿督尤斯里透露，由于油价上扬及次级房贷风波导致全球股市动荡不安，股票以及期货交易量也减少，进而导致营运营业额由前季的1亿1千130万令吉，下滑17％至9千270万令吉，整体业绩也略逊前期。

“第四季投资者担心次级房贷风波，加上节庆众多，表现自然受影响；但今年情况将会改善，当外围不明朗因素逐渐清晰之后，问题也可解决。”

此外，马交所也宣布在第四季派发25仙的股息，促使全年股息达85仙的总额。

尤斯里说：“自2005年上市以来，平均每年都将税后盈利的91％至92％作为派息用途。我们对此派息作风感到舒适，并会维持下去；我们之前也承诺，将至少把盈利的75％用以派息。”

马交所总财务长娜利查则说，在派息过后马交所共有4亿6千万令吉的现金，其中的2亿5千万至3亿令吉，将作为营运开销。

马交所也在今年设立关键表现指标，希望2008年的转速率及衍生产品合约，将各别达56％及50％；股票市场的每日平均交易额将增加22％。

加强衍生产品表现

“我们希望在2008年加强衍生产品的表现，并提高散户在股票市场的参与度。”

同时，马交所也将于今年首季，设立衍生产品直接入场（Direct Market Access,DMA）设施及股票系统。

马交所总营运长奥玛也透露，以美元为主的原棕油期货、富时大马30期货及债券计划，也将在今年首季推行。

Bursa and Chicago exchange in tie-up talks

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Bhd is in discussions with Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) on potential collaboration.

However, the talks are still at the preliminary stage and no terms have been agreed upon, chief executive officer Datuk Yusli Mohamed Yusoff said in a statement yesterday

Appropriate announcements would be made should there be any significant corporate development on this matter, he said.

“Bursa is continuously exploring potential collaboration with strategic business partners to assist the growth of its different businesses.

“Such business partnerships may involve equity holding, depending on how the relationship develops in the future,” Yusli said.

Trading on Bursa shares and call warrants was halted in the morning session but resumed at 2.30pm yesterday.  

The day's second-highest gainer, Bursa jumped RM1.30, or 9.15%, to RM15.50 on volume of 2.35 million shares.

Yusli: CME not buying stake in Bursa

TALKS between Bursa Malaysia and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) on potential collaboration are still ongoing and do not involve any stake acquisition, Bursa’s chief executive officer Datuk Yusli Mohamed Yusoff said today.

“The discussions with CME are still ongoing,” he said when asked about progress of the talks.

Asked whether the collaboration would involve CME buying a stake in Bursa Malaysia, Yusli replied: “No. We approach these things through looking at it from a business perspective.”

“We are looking at how we can expand our business. That is our main priority when we talk to potential partners,” he said.

He was speaking to reporters at Bursa Malaysia’s “Your Preferred Listing Destination” IPO (initial public offering) Conference in Kuala Lumpur.

Bursa Malaysia had earlier announced that it was in talks with CME on a potential collaboration, adding that the discussions were still preliminary and no terms had been agreed.

According to some market talks, CME may buy a 10 per cent stake in Bursa Malaysia with an offer price range of RM20 per share from Capital Market Development Fund, a statutory fund. — Bernama

Bursa: No tie-up with any partner yet

MALAYSIA'S stock exchange operator, Bursa Malaysia, has not concluded any tie-up with any potential strategic partner, it said on Monday.

A business weekly reported at the weekend that Bursa was believed to have started talks with NYSE Euronext, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange, on a possible tie-up.

NYSE Euronext has indicated interest in acquiring a 10 per cent stake in Bursa, the Edge said, citing unnamed sources.

“Bursa wishes to clarify that it is continuously seeking to explore and initiate viable business opportunities which will benefit and create value for the company,” the stock exchange operator said in its statement.

“In line with this, Bursa will continue to evaluate any potential opportunities with potential strategic partners.

However, as of today, the company has not concluded any tie-up (including possible acquisition of a stake in Bursa) with any potential strategic partner.”

Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop confirmed today that Bursa was in negotiations to divest a stake in the firm to a foreign party, but declined to name the party.

He said foreign companies can purchase a stake in the stock market operator.

“We have many companies with up to 30 per cent foreign stake. So, there is no issue,” Nor Mohamed was quoted by Bernama as saying.

Bursa shares were up 1.9 per cent at RM16.10 by 10.50 am. - Reuters

Bursa introduces auotmated settlement system

BURSA Malaysia Securities Clearing Sdn Bhd has introduced the central matching facility (CMF), an automated settlement system which is centralised on Bursa Malaysia’s settlement infrastructure.

In a statement today, Bursa Malaysia said the CMF would provide a more effective and faster matching of settlement for institutional trades in line with the exchange’s commitment to achieve greater operational efficiency.

It said the CMF would allow clearing participants, which comprised stockbroking companies and custodian banks, to automatically and electronically match trade and settlement details which were previously done manually.

“With CMF, files of the matched record for depository transfer and institutional settlement service (ISS) transactions can be produced.

“Additionally, CMF automates the creation of the instruction and confirmation of ISS transactions,” it said.

Bursa Malaysia said the process improvement would reduce clearing participants’ workload, minimise settlement errors, eliminate human intervention and provide immediate confirmation of trade details.

Bursa Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Yusli Mohd Yusoff said CMF was a significant development for the bourse as part of its continuous efforts to provide new value-added services to help improve the delivery channel.

“The CMF will provide an efficient clearing and settlement service that is in line with international best practices and standards,” he said. — Bernama

BURSA Malaysia yesterday said it was in talks with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) on potential collaboration but said the discussions were at preliminary stage, adding both parties had not agreed on any terms.

"Bursa Malaysia is continuously exploring potential collaboration with strategic business partners to assist the growth of its different businesses."

"Such business partnerships may involve equity holding, depending on how the relationship develops in the future," said chief executive officer Datuk Yusli Mohamed Yusoff in a statement issued in Kuala Lumpur.

He was responding to a news report over the weekend which says the CME may buy a 10 per cent stake in Bursa Malaysia with an offer price range of RM20 per share from statutory fund, Capital Market Development Fund.

It was reported that the fund had a 19.28 per cent interest in the local exchange.

The report also stated that both exchanges were discussing a possible tie-up involving the trading of crude palm oil derivatives on CME.

Yesterday, the morning session trading on the Bursa Malaysia counter, call warrants CE, call warrants CF and call warrants CH were halted to allow the market sufficient time to digest the announcement. Trading in these counters resumed at 2.30pm.

Bursa open to foreign partnership

BURSA Malaysia Bhd is open to partnerships with foreign exchanges that can help it grow its business, its top official said.

“We have always said that if we can find partners who can help us grow our business, then we would like to enter into a partnership with them.

“That partnership may or may not involve any kind of holding. If they want to take a stake, that’s a separate discussion that needs to be initiated,” Datuk Yusli Mohamed Yusoff said in an interview last Friday.

Any party that wants to buy more than five per cent would require the Minister of Finance’s approval, he added.

Yusli declined to comment further, but media reports over the weekend quoted sources as saying that the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) may buy a 10 per cent stake in Bursa.

One report said CME may buy the stake at about RM20 a share and a deal may be announced around Christmas.

Yusli said Bursa wanted to form linkages with other markets to promote trading.
