Luis Suarez's ban for biting was upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, as per the BBC, but some minor relaxations to his penalty means that his debut for Barcelona could now be less than a week away.  

The four-month ban from full games was kept in place, as was his suspension for Uruguay, but he is now able to compete in football-related activities such as training, and also has been cleared to compete in friendly matches:
