请问一下，
Consolidate Account 的问题
1) involve acquisition + equity(associate)
-An impairment test on 31 Dec 2009 showed that both the goodwill in subsidiary and associate had not been impaired.(两个都是在1 JAN 2009 purchased的)
请问这是什么意思？ 是不是两个都没有impairment in Goodwill?

2) Only Subsidiary
- an impairment test on 31 Dec 2009 showed that the consolidated goodwill had not been impaired.
这又是什么意思？

1）在31 Dec 2009有impairment test， 结果subsidiary和associate的goodwill value一样所以没有impairment on goodwill


2）就是说没有impairment on goodwill




note：我也是刚考完F7 ， 所以也不知道对不对的

1. Financial Instrument: a contract that gives rise to a financial asset of one equity and a financial liability or equity instrument of another equityfinancial asset- cash, an equity instrument of another equity , a contractual right , a contract that will or maybe settled in the entity's own equity instruments
financial liability- a contractual obligation
equity instrument-any contract that evidences a residual interest in the assets of an entity after deducting all of its liablities

   哦 谢谢你， 我愿意等你的答案。但是我现在又有consol a/c 问题要问你。 如果at the date of acquisition of sub, the fair value of an item of land in Sub was 10 Million greater than its book value on 1st JAN 2009.

这个treatment 要Dr PPE 然后 Cr 什么？

Cr subsidiary retained earning的pre-profit 因为是在at the acquisition date ，所以不能放在post profit

我听别人说在马来西亚都是ktar 和 sunway 比较著名对吗？

OIC是Orange International College，在KL，有很多著名的lecturer在这间学院教ACCA。

Ktar和Sunway是比较著名，但不代表好。Ktar学费比较便宜，但lecturer就普通水平。Sunway就出名学费一流和lecturer九流，其platinum status是靠手段得回来的，只有那些富家子才认为Sunway是ACCA的首选。
