Redang Island 熱浪島

Pulau Ekor Tebu
There is an exquisite array of hard corals at this site, all jostling for that optimum light capturing position on the reef. There are blue corals, soft leather corals and some large clams to be found here. The northeast tip of the island comprises mainly of large boulders dropping down to 24 meters with a cave at the bottom. Eagle rays and bowmouth shovelnose guitar sharks have been spotted at this dive site. Watch out for the Titan Triggers that nest in the sand.

Chek Isa
The submerged reef here is bouyed and starts at 8 meters deep where two huge boulders carpeted in soft corals and anemones form a small canyon. Many cracks conceal smaller critters as well as sponges, worms, squirts and stinging hydriods. There are many puffer fish and porcupine fish to be seen at this spot as well as cowries and spider shells, a beautiful site to witness them in their natural habitat and not in a shop window. This spot is also very good for night diving with nocturnal reef inhabitants in abundance.

Mak Cantik
There can be strong currents around the submerged boulders here. As we know this is good for bigger fish so barracuda, jacks and trevally are common at this dive site along side many other species of schooling fish that sweep around the coral formations in spectacular unison. Some beautiful coral and anemone gardens can be found here too.

Pulau Lima
There are several dive sites around Pulau Lima (five islets), the most famous being "Big Mount". This is a submerged mount around 80 meters off the northern tip of the island; it is widely regarded as one of the best dive sites in the Redang Archipelago. The boulder formation drops down to around 30 meters and stronger currents can be present here hence the likelihood of seeing bigger pelagics. Mantas and whale sharks have been spotted here in the past.
The southern tip of Pulau Lima has another cluster of submerged boulders where flamboyant nudibranchs can be seen and a number of small caves offer sanctuary to more timid reef creatures. Coral encrusted walls can be explored on the eastern side where morays and black tip sharks maybe observed.

Pulau Kerengga
The two islands of Kerengga (Besar and Kecil) offer some shallower coral gardens. Between the two islands lies the best concentration of hard and soft corals and reef fish. You may spot humphead parrotfish and sting rays here, the sandy bottom being a haven for them。

Pulau Ling
This small island is best known for two massive coral heads which are said to be the largest off the Malay Peninsular. The larger of the mammouth Porites measures around 25 meters across at its base circumference. They are both over a hundred years old and the small caves around the bottom attract angel fish and moorish idols.
Batu Chipor
Just north of Pulau Ling is a small rocky outcrop that is covered in seafans, whips and sponges. It is barely exposed at low tides and currents can be strong here.

Tanjung Tokong
Situated just around from Turtle Bay this spot is well renowned for seeing Green and Hawksbill turtles. In addition to the turtles there are many varieties of reef fish here around the submerged boulders. Currents can be stronger and these often bring in the bigger feeders such as jacks and trevally.

Tunnel Point
A little further south is an array of boulders that create caves, swinthroughs and canyons. Close inspections is rewarded by sights of the shyer marine inhabitants lurking in the darkness.

Terumbu Kili
The southern island of Pinang provides more diving opportunities and this spot is a rocky outcrop that descends down to 20 meters or so. Strong currents are often experienced in the channel that separates it from the island. Blacktip sharks have been spotted here along with barracdua, trevally and jacks.

Marine Headquarters

There is an old wreck of a cargo vessel near the Marine Headquarters on the north of Pulau Pinang. It is now covered in coral and is home to many fish including a stonefish that takes some searching out!

第二樓:Perhentian Island Dive Site

Perhentian Island 停泊島

Tokong Laut
Arguably one of the best dive sites in the Perhentians. A series of underwater boulders and pinnacles plays home to all manner of marine life. Pufferfish and boxfish are common here along side several species of anemonefish living amonst the vivid corals. Bigger pelagics are also often spotted including barracuda and tuna with large schools of snappers and fusiliers sweeping in and out of the formations. If you're lucky and the season is right you may glimpse a whale shark here however numbers have dwindled recently. Bamboo and Nurse sharks have also known to make there homes in the rocky hideaways at Tokong Laut.

Pulau Rawa
Another series of underwater boulders just off the tip of the smaller outer islands. There are a couple of small caves and swimthroughs here and some nice black coral and sea fans. Nurse sharks may be spotted resting in the crevices here.

Batu Nisan
A gentler and shallower dive here where there is an abundance of giant clams, anemones and christmas tree worms. There maybe stingrays resting on the sandy bottom here. A good spot for a night dive as crabs, shrips and feather stars are in abundance as are parrotfish which will be asleep and encased by nightfall.

Pasir Tani Wreck
The wreck of a landing craft used by Vietnamese boat-people on route to Malaysia lies upright in 22 meters off the southwest coast of Perhentian Kecil. She sank in 1976 while being towed to Kuala Besut for repairs. Viz can be limited here if strong currents have stirred up the sand. Soft coral growth is quite exstensive on the top of the wreck and lionfish can be seen suspended in the water here. Barracuda often lurk around the structure in search of another meal.

Sugar Wreck
This 90 meter cargo ship sank in 2000, she now lies on her side in around 18 meters of water. Reef adaptation can be seen here as already there are corals and shells growing on the hull. Big schools of snappers, jacks and trevally circle the hulk and myriad smaller fish shelter inside. Penetration is possible for experienced divers and the engine room, wheelhouse and cabins are all accessible.

Pasir Kerangi/Artificial Reef
This spot is an artificial reef made from PVC pipes laid down by the Department of Fisheries in 1991. The latticework is weighted down an lies in 18 meters of water, it serves to encourage coral growth and some soft corals have already reached 60cm high by feeding off nutrient rich currents. The artificial reef is also home to many smaller fish such as damsels, gobys and wrasse.

Gua Kambing
There are rocky boulders strewn over a sandy bottom here. Stingrays and big Jenkins whiprays can often be seen on the bottom and morays may be found in the crevices between the rocks. Cleaner shrimp are often seen busily at work here also.

Tanjung Besi
On the northern tip of Perhentian Besar is a peninsular with a reef at round 20 meters. There are some big rock formations and a couple of small caves and swimthroughs. As the current is often stronger here there are usually schools of bigger fish such as barracuda, trevally and mullet. There are also often big groupers lurking around in the depths.

Terumbu Tiga
Tiger Rock as its known in English is probably one of the best dive sites in the Perhentians. It boasts some large coral formations, barrel sponges, soft whip corals and gorgonian fans. Fish life can be equally as impressive with schools of mackerel and barracuda. The big boulder formations create some impressive swimthroughs and canyons here and if you are fortunate you may spot a leopard or white tip shark.

Rubix Cube Reef

The name is derived from the jumble of concrete blocks dropped by the government next to the wreck of a large wooden Vietnamese fishing boat. The idea being to create an artificial reef to attract fish life for local fishermen. Fishing nets and concrete blocks don't mix too well so the fish stayed and the fishermen left, now the reef is teeming with life. There is a huge biodiversity for marine fish here including lionfish, boxfish, scorpionfish, pufferfish and sweetlips. Currents and visibility can vary.

第三樓:Lang Tenagh Island Dive Site

Lang Tengah Island 浪中島

Lang Tengah Island
The small island of Lang Tengah sits between the Perhentians and Redang Island. It is best described as a secret paradise hideaway seldom visited by tourists and divers, this will change over time. Coral is in pristine contition and marine life is abundant here.
There is a good deep dive here dropping down to 30 meters with big shoals of snappers, fusiliers and rabbitfish, a thermocline often drops the visibility which can be upto 30 meters. Bamboo sharks, turtles and shovel nosed rays have been spotted on occasion around the island. There are a couple of shallow bays ideal for night diving where crustaceans and nocturnal reef critters are abundant. Some of the more popular dive sites are Tanjung Nibong Laut (26m), Yellow Reef (Terumbu Kuning, 25m), Tanjung Telunjuk, Karang Nibong, Batu Bulan and the House Reefs.

很抱歉,Lang Tengah的資料不夠多,我會再努力尋找。。。

第四樓:Tioman Island Dive Site

Tioman Island 刁曼島

Chebeh Island
There are a number of spots around Chebeh Island, the most popular being the northeast and southeast corners. The large volcanic rocks form canyons and swimthroughs often full of schooling yellowtail fusiliers, there is also a large cavern filled with glassfish around the 20 meter mark on the southeast corner. Gorgonians are common on the walls here along with barrel sponges and soft corals of every colour. Bigger pelagics often visit this site and a manta or whale shark may even be spotted on their migratory route from the north during the earlier months of the season.

Tulai Island
Also known as Fan Canyon this site is famed for its huge Gorgonian sea fans clinging onto the volcanic boulders. There are a number of swimthroughs amongst the jumbled boulders where smaller creatures and even a ribbon eel maybe spotted. A couple of locations around Tulai Island can be dived namely Gador Bay, Genting Bay and Malang Rocks. Marine life includes humphead wrasse, moray eels, lionfish and corwn of thorns starfish.

Labas Island
A long rocky outcrop essentially comprises this dive site. Beneath the surface are myriad cracks and crevices with make up countless swimthroughs and caves. It has the best of both worlds; plenty of nooks and crannies for the adventurous and beautiful coral gardens for the relaxing dive. Look out for lionfish, cowries and nudibranchs here. Labas can actually be dived twice, once at each end.

Sepoi Island
Sepoi is one of the further islands from Tioman, hence it is not dived as frequently as the others. Often done as a drift dive around the island up and over the volcanic boulders.

Golden Reef
Just off the northeastern edge of Sepoi Island is a submerged reef where sea fans, soft corals and sponges are all competing for space. Featherstars, worms and gastropods are all common on the protected reef. Fish life here includes moon wrasse, angelfish, butterflyfish, pufferfish and coral groupers.

Tiger Reef
This submerged reef lies in the channel between the islands of Sepoi and Labas. Some impressive coral formations can be seen here such as plate, brain and fire coral. It is one of the most impressive reefs in the area, covered in hard and soft coral it attracts thousands of fish including snapper, fusiliers, batfish, jacks and tuna. Since currents are often stronger barracuda and blacktip sharks put in an appearance here.

Renggis Island
Renggis Island is one of Tioman's top dive spots, hence it can get busy at times. Sub surface on the eastern side of the island is a reef teeming with life with all manner of corals, sponges and anemones and a multitude of fish. This site is often used for training and night dives, it is also one of the better places to spot turtles and blacktip sharks.

The western side of the island has a lot of Gorgonians and is home to several turtles and a resident giant barracuda called Boris. Venturing off the island reefs and into slightly deeper water will reveal a couple of Thai fishing wrecks that house a moray eel. There is also another "hidden reef" out here with equally as impressive corals and fish life.

Soyak Island
This tiny island just off Salang Bay has a number of submerged boulders covered in corals and teeming with fish such as butterflyfish, parrotfish and angelfish. The main highlight to this spot though are the two wrecks lying in 24 meters of water just off the island. They are covered in soft corals and play home to a giant grouper and often blacktip sharks.

House Reef
This shallow calm spot is usually used for training dives. It has a wide variety of hard and soft coral with all the regular reef fish found at the deeper spots. The house reefs are also popular with snorkellers due to their proximity to the beach. The cuttlefish mating season can be observed here in March.

Tom Yam Wreck
Just a little further out from the House Reef is the Tom Yam wreck sitting upright in around 20 meters of water. This makes an excellent easily accessible night dive where the entire wreck comes alive with cleaner shrimp, crabs, dragon snails, featherstars and lionfish.

Marine Park Wrecks
There are 8 wrecks located off the beach at the Marine Park headquaters. They are all connected so navigation is relatively simple and inquisitive batfish will often follow you around. Big shoals of fusiliers, jacks and trevallys can be seen around the wrecks.

Pirate Reef and Pirate Wreck
The reef is a breeding ground for fish in the area with hatching season from March to May. Thousands of tiny fish can be seen on the reef this time of year. The wreck, a couple of minutes swim away in 18 meters, is seldom visited and in good condition covereed in soft corals and fans.

Sawadee Wreck
These two wrecks lie in 30 meters of water and are the deepest dives this close to the island. Bigger shoals of fish can be seen here and even a stonefish and octopus on closer inspection.

Bahara Rocks
This southern spot is one of Tioman's better dive loactions. The drop offs here are covered in barrel sponges, black coral and anemones and soft red and purple corals. The marine life here is prolific with numerous species of fish and bigger animals. Sharks are often spotted in the depths around the two giant rocks rising from the reef plateau. Visibility can be good here but currents can be strong.

第五樓:Langkawi/Payar Island Dive Site

Langkawi and Payar Islands

Although there are several dive operators on Langkawi most of the diving is done further south at Pulau Payar. There are four islands in this marine park some 30 kilometers south of Langkawi. It boasts the largest number of coral species in the country and the most vividly coloured soft corals. Vizibility isnt as good on average as other areas in Malaysia but this is made up for by the abundance of marine life. There is a large pontoon and underwater observation chamber here where vessels laden with day trippers from Langkawi moor up.

Pulau Payar dive sites
The southwestern tip of Pulau Payar offers a panoramic coral garden with steep canyons and crevices dropping down to around 18 meters. Marine life includes titan triggers, morays, lionfish and pufferfish. A litter further south is "Grouper Farm" named after the large number of resident groupers, viz is usually slightly lower here. Other popular dive sites around Payar are Lobster Garden, Porite Garden and Raaf Beach. There are a couple of spots around Pulau Lembu including Lembu Rocks and Goodyear Reef.

Pulau Kaca dive sites
South of the island is an artificial reef made up of seven sunken confiscated fishing boats. The wrecks are home to a wide variety of fishlife including jacks, mangrove snappers and groupers. Navigation is relatively simple and none of the wrecks lie deeper than 18 meters.

Pulau Segantang dive sites
This small island lies 13 kilometers west of Pulau Payar, it features steep rocky terrain down to 20 meters. Fish life is in abundance with barracuda, jacks, snappers and often nurse sharks. Tyre Reef is the most popular site here, there is also an anemone garden round the northern side of Segantang.

第六樓:Sipadan Island Dive Site

Sipadan Island

Barracuda Point

Currents can be strong here so dont go too deep or you may be swept downwards and out away from the islands. These food laden currents are what attract thousands of fish to the area including huge swirling schools of chevron barracuda. Topography starts off with a wall which merges into a ledge at around 22 meters where resting white tip sharks can be seen, also keep an eye out for grey reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles and bumphead parrotfish. The sheer numbers of fish are astounding here and drift diving is the best way to go at this absolutely awesome dive site!

Turtle Cavern
Sipadan is famous for its populations of green and hawksbill turtles. This cavern lying in around 20 meters of water was rumored once to be a catacomb where the local turtles came to find their final resting place. It was later discovered that the turtles simply got lost in the cavern system at night and drowned. Inside the labyrinth of interconnecting caverns are the shells and bones of those less fortunate turtles that failed to find an exit. Divers are advised to take extreme caution in the caves as visibility can easily and quickly be reduced to zero if silt is disturbed.

The Drop Off
The drop off is probably one of Sipadan's most famous dive sites, it is also rated in the top five beach dives of the world! Just ten meters from the beach the abyss drops down to over 600 meters deep. The wall is covered in many varieties of coral and some big pelagics often visit the area, keep a lookout for grey reef sharks in the deep blues. There will undoubtedly be huge schools of jacks circling above you, a truly magical sight on this fantastic wall of marine life. This spot is also popular for night dives where huge bumphead parrotfish can be seen sleeping on the wall.

Coral Gardens
Another wall dive with a multitude of coral species here. Turtles are everywhere on this site, feeding on the coral, resting or even posing for photos, they seem used to divers and will hang around for a little. Triggerfish and giant wrasse are plentiful and there is always the possibility of that huge school of jacks or barracuda.

Whitetip Avenue
With a name like this you pretty much know what to expect. There is no shortage of gentle whitetip sharks along the wall and plateaus here. Coral is abundant and Gorgonians are common, as with most other Sipadan dive sites you'll see turtles, jacks, bigeye trevally and barracuda.

Mid Reef
Continuing along the wall to Mid reef where there is an explosion of life. The slopes around 20 to 30 meters offer some of the best coral formations around Sipadan. With gorgonians, black coral and plate, table and staghorn coral on shallower parts. Fish life includes puffers, bozfish, leaf fish and lionfish and always the chance of something bigger.

Turtle Patch
A typical Sipadan dive with an abundance of turtles, its not unusual to see over 20 of them in one dive. Topography is slightly different here with a slope down to 15 meters then slightly steeper down to 40 or so before the drop off. Turtles aside there are often huge schools of circling jacks here where divers can be engulfed in a living sphere of fish. As with most Sipadan dives this one is best done as a drift.

South Point
South Point is one of the few dive sites in the area where there is a chance of spotting something more exciting. Deep waters and strong currents have been known to bring in Hammerhead and Thresher sharks to this spot though they are usually around the 40 meter mark. Although they are rare it is still worth finning off the wall and into the open water a little way for the hope of a glimpse, watch the currents though. The rest of the dive can be spent drifting along the wall spotting turtles.

Staghorn Crest
A gradual diagonal descent down the wall reveals a Staghorn coral garden in the shallows and a plateau at 15 meters. Good light conditions in the afternoon make this site a favourite for photographers. Huge coral heads can be found here and the crevices in the walls offer a home to shrimps, morays, nudibranchs and gobies. As with most Sipadan dive sites there is alway the possibility of a manta ray or shark sighting.

Lobster Lair
A better site for shallower diving where time can be taken to explore the cracks and crevices that house all manner of marine creatures. Lobsters are not as common as the name of the site suggests but they can still be found. Other sights here include pipefish, scorpionfish, and lionfish. There may be the odd leopard shark lying around too.

Hanging Gardens
The topography here consists of a 2 meter deep reef sloping down to a terrace around the 70 meter mark which then drops off into the abyss. As its name implies this site is great for viewing soft corals with dendronephthya alcyonarians in various pastel colours covering the slope. Check out the cracks and crevaces for macro life and always keep an eye out for bigger visitors.

West Ridge
This is another shallower site where soft corals and macro life is prolific. It is best dived in the afternoon where the dappled sunlight can be magical. Black coral bushes can be seen here along with the resident turtles that often stop to have a crunch on the coral. Other marine life includes sweetlips, groupers, napoleon wrasse and anemonefish.

North Point
The wall here has a few overhangs where fish can be found hiding, it is often dived as a drift around to The Drop Off. Beautiful in the afternoon when the sunlight bounces off the brightly coloured pink, red and yellow soft corals. Also several sponges, anemones and sea squirts can be seen here. Marine life includes the usual Sipadan residents, especially those turtles!

我今年四月才跟老公一起拿到OW, 到现在共有17个dive. 都是在 Tioman.最喜欢是 Chebeh.
不知大家对於 Tioman / Mersing 渡轮失火有什么看法 ?
我个人经验是: 从来没有準时, 買了快艇的票后被告知只有渡轮可乘. 快艇比渡轮贵 RM5. 也遇过船在半途坏掉.
