营运成本减‧马电讯次季净利增12%

(吉隆坡28日讯)马电讯(TM,4863,主板电讯媒体组)成本尽大化措施收效,使营运成本走低,推动截至2019年6月30日为止次季净利增加12.01%至1亿1418万4000令吉,首半年净利更显著增长63.05%至4亿2246万3000令吉。
首半年净利大增63%
不过,除了数码服务业务外,其他产品收入都欠佳,让次季营业额下跌5.71%至27亿6861万1000令吉,首半年的营业额也因此挫4.09%至为55亿4753万3000令吉。
该公司配合业绩发出文告指出,首半年的资本开销为4亿5000万令吉,或占营业额的8.1%,符合公司之前的指引。
该公司旗下宽频Unifi业务今年首半年家庭客户汇集渗透率达56%。目前Unifi宽频客户基础达216万位,预料将持续成长,主要是更多客户进一步加入价值链至三方-运作服务(3P)领域。该公司于2019年上半年推介unifi Air服务产品以提升现有Streamyx客户的上网体验。
马电讯的TM-ONE产品将使工业直系的数据转型及公共领域作好工业改革4.0的准备。目前该公司已经完成其双型核心数据中心,即在赛城推出巴生河流域IP核心数据中心。
专注客户加强表现
谈到未来业务展望,马电讯首席执行员拿督诺卡马鲁安努亚表示,业绩表现改善措施及有效的成本管理,将继续稳定公司的赚利。
他说:“我们会专注客户及加强公司表现,特别是投资在改善客户体验,增加全方位的客户购买以推动公司的营收。”
他表示,将为TM-ONE寻找更多在企业和公众领域的策略伙伴和客户进行合作,以朝向数码化和智能方案迈进,为大马成为数码国度出一分力。
冀强劲表现持续
诺卡马鲁安努亚在业绩汇报会指出,该公司希望今年次季及首半年标青业绩表现能够持续,特别是公司持续专注业务成长,包括在流动通讯领域寻求更好的增长动力,因为目前主要营收来自固定线路通讯领域。
首半年资本开销4.5亿
他指出,该公司将拨出营业额的18.0%供2019年的资本开销,至今首半年资本开销已拨出4亿5000万令吉或占营业额的8.1%,54%是投资在接驳通路,包括光纤与无线通讯领域、27%则投在支援系统以及19%则落在核心网络领域,其中逾半投资皆放眼改善客户服务及体验,以进一步推动营收成长。
有信心推5G服务
询及马电讯是否将进军5G领域,他表示,目前有关5G的频谱尚未出炉,这胥视通讯及多媒体委员会(MCMC)何时发出有关5G频谱而定,该公司有信心能够推出这项最新服务。
他说:“我们将会全力支持政府推出的国家光纤化及连接计划(NFCP)以进一步协助国家建造行动,只要政府发出正确的频谱,加上马电讯已拥有的光纤设施,相信不会有问题,将可攫取之前没有涉足领域的营收成长。”
NFCP是政府主导的5年(2019年至2023年)基础建设计划,并设定7大目标来改善国内数码连接情况。
市场预测未来2、3年的通讯业欠缼成长动力,马电讯是否有计划通过并购推动成长?
目前无并购打算
对此,诺卡马鲁安努亚表示,马电讯目前没有任何并购打算。
他说:“我们还是专注通过其他行动继续推动营收成长,同时也将通过训练员工提升能力,以推动公司业务成长,特别是在销售领域。”

利好反映 前景未明‧马电讯财测下调

(吉隆坡29日讯)马电讯(TM,4863,主板电讯媒体组)半年净利增长63%至4亿2246万令吉,分析员认为成本已显著合理化和改善赚益,未来是否促成营收增长推高盈利有待验证。
MIDF研究说,马电讯已成功合理化成本,显著改善赚益与盈利,未来可否促成营收增长正待观察。
马电讯业绩亮丽无法反映在股价,今日盘中最低跌43仙至3令吉65仙,闭市收窄跌幅至3令吉74仙,跌34仙,全场第二下跌股。
MIDF指出,马电讯派息率60%,在有庞大资本开销下,维持周息率4%。
达证券指出,管理层指今年营收可能减低至个位数,因而下修今明两年财测4.8%与4.9%至净赚8.8亿至9.0亿令吉之间。
大众研究说,马电讯面临的法规压力虽已减,不预期宽频再减价,因而盈利可向上增长。然而,为淘汰龟速Streamyx需高成本,且失去原有Streamyx客户比提升至Unifi的客户多,宽频市占率受竞争者进一步侵蚀。
内阁最近批准5年期的216亿令吉全国光纤连接计划(NFCP),大众相信这项计划部分融资数码基建(特别在未能服务到的地区),虽然马电讯有机会参与,料经济回酬低。
肯纳格研究指出,首半年挹注资本开销4.5亿令吉,预定全年资本开销占营收的18%(预测今年营收112亿),下半年将凌厉提升网络,包括铜线网络。
每股派息料达11.8仙
次季并未宣布派息,达证券预测2019财政年每股派息达11.8仙,或派息率的40%至60%,周息率达2.9%。毛负债比从首季的2.24倍,增至次季的2.46倍。
