花旗股價被注入上漲催化劑
CITIGROUP (NYSE )
週一收盤後，美國財政部宣佈出售其持有的花旗集團(NYSE)剩餘24億股普通股，每股售價4.35美元，較當天4.45美元的收盤價折價2.2%。加上之前出售的53億股，美國財政部已經清空全部77億股花旗集團普通股，平均每股售價4.14美元，較當初每股3.25美元的買入價溢價27.4%。該消息推動花旗集團股價週二上漲超過3.8%。
券商Sandler O'Neill & Partners認為，美國財政部退出持有花旗集團的股票對花旗集團股價具有積極意義。美國財政部退出持有花旗集團的股票以後，機構投資者的持股數量就會增加，這對花旗集團今後的股價有積極的推動作用，因為今年以來很多投資者和分析師對美國政府持有花旗股份感到擔憂，這也是阻止機構投資者持股量增加的主要原因。
分析人士認為，這是一個雙贏的局面：美國政府為花旗“鬆綁”，擺脫政府控制，而美國政府也可以從中套現獲利。
機構投資者的凈買入能力依然持續。數據顯示，截至今年第三季度結束時，機構投資者持有花旗集團股票的比例為48.4%。假如美國財政部此次將24億股花旗股票全部出售給機構投資者，那麼機構投資者的持股比例將達到56.5%，但低於其所在行業的平均水準。通常，大型銀行和經紀商類股中機頭投資者平均持股比例為73.9%。
Sandler O'Neill & Partners繼續給出花旗集團股票“買入”評級，同時將其目標股價定在5.50美元，即當前有形賬面價值的1.2倍。美國政府的退出將成為花旗集團股價持續上漲的催化劑。
花旗集團實現目標價面臨的主要風險是美國國內或國際經濟活動增速放緩的持續時間比預期的要長，再就是抵押貸款資產減損。
花旗集團面臨的另一些相關風險是，儘管經濟增長持續，但消費者支出、信貸質量以及資本市場活動等持續惡化。此外，監管和立法風險、規劃的資產剝離執行風險、資本結構或充足性的潛在變化以及收益曲綫的潛在走平都是花旗集團今後可能面臨的額外風險。 |

Citigroup Inc (NYSE) Support & Resistance Levels - 12/19/10
Resistance Levels: $4.72, $4.85
Support Levels: $4.54, $4.50
Citigroup Inc. (C) has support at the $4.50 level. Citigroup Inc will continue to have resistance on the upside located at $4.65 as well as $4.72. If Citigroup can close back above $4.72, I think C Stock can rally back and retest $4.85. Citigroup will continue to do well now that the Govenment has sold their stake in the company. The Govenment still owns Citigroup Inc warrants however. Also something to keep in mind, Citigroup can do a reverse split at anytime. The Citigroup board of directors has already approved this. |

Resistance Levels: $5.00, $5.07
Support Levels: $4.80
Citigroup Inc. (C) closed at $4.96 on Wednesday after hitting $5.00 briefly. Citigroup Inc will now have resistance located up at $5.00 as well as $5.07. Since Citigroup closed back above $4.85, I think C Stock can rally back and retest $5.07 soon. Citigroup will continue to do well now that the Govenment has sold their stake in the company. The Govenment still owns Citigroup Inc warrants however. Also something to keep in mind, Citigroup can do a reverse split at anytime. The Citigroup board of directors has already approved this. |

每次都过不了5.00,citi啊citi你的last Q result可不可以漂亮点 当是卖掉的AIG都开翻了 |

Resistance是在 5.07，要是會過5.07，那將會是好消息。  |

對。據我所知，上次他們批准的RS是 7對1.
What Does Reverse Stock Split Mean?
A reduction in the number of a corporation's shares outstanding that increases the par value of its stock or its earnings per share. The market value of the total number of shares (market capitalization) remains the same.
Investopedia explains Reverse Stock Split
For example, a 1-for-2 reverse split means you get half as many shares, but at twice the price. It's usually a bad sign if a company is forced to reverse split - firms do it to make their stock look more valuable when, in fact, nothing has changed. A company may also do a reverse split to avoid being delisted.
Reverse Stock Splits
A reverse stock split reduces the number of shares and increases the share price proportionately. For example, if you own 10,000 shares of a company and it declares a one for ten reverse split, you will own a total of 1,000 shares after the split. A reverse stock split has no effect on the value of what shareholders own. Companies often split their stock when they believe the price of their stock is too low to attract investors to buy their stock. Some reverse stock splits cause small shareholders to be "cashed out" so that they no longer own the company’s shares.
A company’s board of directors may declare a reverse stock split without shareholder approval. Although the SEC has authority over a broad range of corporate activity, state corporate law and a company’s articles of incorporation and by-laws govern reverse stock splits.
If a company is required to file reports with the SEC, it may notify its shareholders of a reverse stock split on Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K. |
