Citigroup Inc (NYSE ) Support & Resistance Levels - 3/27/11
Resistance Levels: $4.62, $4.67, $4.75

Citigroup Inc. (C) was back above the 10 day moving average on Friday . Citigroup Inc will have resistance located up at $4.62 & $4.67. Citigroup will have support at the 200 day moving average now ($4.30). I continue to think you can start buying C stock around $4.40 for the long term. Citigroup is a strong buy below $4.40.
Citigroup will start a new uptrend when the stock closes back above the 50 day moving average. Citigroup Inc should keep a premium now that the Government is out of the stock. Also something to keep in mind, Citigroup will be doing a 1:10 reverse stock split in May 2011. Citigroup will also be bringing back their dividend as well.

Reverse Split for Citigroup Common Stock
Citigroup Inc. has announced a 1-for-10 reverse stock split of Citigroup common stock (CUSIP® 172967101). The reverse stock split will be effective after the close of trading on Friday, May 6, 2011, and the new Citigroup common stock will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at the opening of trading on Monday, May 9, 2011.
It will trade under the same symbol (C), but under a new CUSIP that has yet to be announced. When the reverse stock split becomes effective, every 10 shares of Citigroup common stock will be automatically exchanged into one share of the new common stock.
Please be reminded to pay particular attention when submitting orders in Citigroup common stock from effective date May 9, 2011. |

剛開始 R/Split時，股價很有可能會跌 35-45%（可以參考AIG R/Split後的4星期裡的股價）。
另外借用芬姐的解釋：
例如：股價 4.43 買進 1000Units = 4430 美金。
那麼R/Split 後 就會剩下是 100Units， 不過股價還是一樣，變成貴價 44.30.
e.g. 你現在手上有 5000Units 的 2元 Citigroups。那麼本錢是 10,000.00.
在R/Split後，你將只擁有500Units的Citigroups而已。不過本錢還是一樣10000.00，只不過帳目上變成 20元 for 500Units了， 不是2元 for 5000Units。

(Indeed, shares of American International Group Inc. fell for four weeks, and almost 50%, after its reverse split on June 30 2009, before it started to rise. Its shares have since doubled.) |

可以进。。。when citigroup below 44.00 always a strong buy... but.... but.... make sure that you dont need that money for a few year or quarters.... in short term .... any banks in US wont get any boost or interest from investors especially institutional investors... because the mortgage problem.... citigroup maybe a good investment for long term investment... long term mean years... if you think that you want fast money... citigroup wont be your choice... because it will be a laggard for few quarters....

（纽约18日讯）Eton Park Capital Management LP和Viking Global Investors LP等至少5家对冲基金在今年第一季度中出售了所持花旗集团（C）的股票，原因是投资者不愿买入面临营收下滑趋势的美国银行类股。
据EtonPark和Viking向美国证券交易委员会（SEC）提交的文件显示，这家由埃里克-明迪克（Eric Mindich）运营下的对冲基金在第一季度中出售了所持8千零50万股的花旗集团股票；与此同时，Viking也出售了所持1.51亿股的花旗集团股票。截至去年年底为止，EtonPark所持花旗集团股票的总价值为3.81亿美元（约11.6亿令吉），Viking所持股票的总价值则为7.14亿美元（约21.7亿令吉）。
