力拓巴西非洲 美固木合板冀海外贡献55%

（吉隆坡4日讯）强化现有海外市场业务的同时，美固木合板（Mieco，5001，主板工业产品股）计划开拓巴西与非洲两个新市场，并冀望海外业务营业额贡献从2012财年的50%，增至2013财年的55%。

美固木合板董事经理拿督斯里杨星耀在接受《南洋商报》专访时说：“现在，我们已经不再把焦点集中在欧洲与美国市场，我们非常注重印度、中国、印尼、日本以及中东等，希望可以加强这些市场。”

美固木合板核心业务是生产木合板，出口至逾20个国家。为了进一步拓展海外业务，公司已锁定今年进军巴西与非洲。

杨星耀披露，公司已经邀请巴西与非洲潜在客户前来出席本届马来西亚国际家具展（MIFF），以参观公司的展示单位及洽谈未来合作细节。

木基业下半年复苏

杨星耀说：“我们期望借此顺利取得订单，把海外业务对公司总营业额的贡献进一步提高5%。”

为了达成上述目标，美固木合板将严谨控制生产成本、提高产品质量、确保产能稳定以及改善客户服务等。

根据杨星耀，公司决定暂时维持现有3间厂房产能，并视未来订单、产品价格及汇率走势决定应否提高产能。

目前，美固木合板的3间厂房坐落在彭亨，分别是关丹（2间）以及瓜拉立卑（1间），年总产量约60万立方米。

询及2013财年前景，杨星耀说：“目前，欧洲经济还未复苏，美国经济则只稍有进展，加上我国即将举行第十三届大选，很多本地相关业者都在静观其变。

“因此，我预计木基业市场最快今年下半年才可看见复苏迹象。”

尽管如此，他仍然看好木基业短期前景，并希望公司透过节省主要原料成本及改善厂房运作、提升2013财年业绩。

参展MIFF推5产品

身为马来西亚国际家具展常客的美固木合板，将在今年推出3至5种新产品。

杨星耀表示，公司将在今年展示的新产品包括新三浸氰胺贴面板表面、新三浸氰胺贴面板色系以及新防火台面板色系。

参展商超450家

“这些都是欧洲当前流行产品，但基于欧洲、亚洲及太平洋消费者品味不同，我们参考了外国产品、再经过内部改良才推出上述产品。”

第十九届马来西亚国际家具展将于3月5日掀开序幕，展开为期5天的国际展览会，今年铁定报到的参展商已经超过450家。

届时，参展商将在两个指定展览中心———太子世界贸易中心（PWTC）及外贸促进局会展中心（MECC）施展浑身解数，争取国内外买家青睐。

杨星耀认为，马来西亚国际家具展为美固木合板提供了一个完整的平台，不仅让公司可借此吸引更多国际新客户，还可与现有客户聚首一堂及洽谈，加强合作关系。[南洋网财经]

（吉隆坡22日讯）美固木合板（MIECO，5001，主板工业产品股）主席拿督莫哈末梅兹，将从即日起辞去职务，并由拿督莫哈末哈聂夫接棒。

美固木合板向马交所报备，原任主席莫哈末梅兹辞去主席职务，主要是本身还有其他业务需要经营。

他目前仍通过Ambang Sehati私人公司，拥有美固木合板的1亿1919万3971股或56.76%股权。

（吉隆坡7日讯）为集中刨花板生产营运，美固木合板（MIECO，5001，主板工业产品股）宣布以2300万令吉，脱售彭亨关丹士满慕（Semambu）的工厂与土地资产。

根据文告，这块土地规模达14英亩，工厂、办公楼与食堂总和净楼层面积达23万4000平方米，将脱售予Micro Estate私人有限公司。

美固木合板当前共有三座工厂生产刨花板，包括士满慕、牙明和立卑，脱售士满慕工厂有助集中生产运作，更能降低工厂往返交通成本与能源消耗，借此降低成本及提高成本。

其中50%的脱售所得，将用来偿还银行贷款，进一步改善公司负债率，其他则充作未来营运资本。

Purnama Kuantum现持有美固木合板56.76%股权。

该公司向马交所报备，Purnama Kuantum是向Ambang Sehati私人有限公司及BRDB发展私人有限公司，购入上述股权。

Ambang Sehati私人有限公司也是大城市（BRDB，1473，主板产业股）的大股东。

同时，拿督莫哈末莫尔斯及阿都沙达尔，因各持有PurnamaKuantum33.3%股权，将间接持有美固木合板股权。【南洋网财经】
