Pestech国际向马交所报备，上述合约主要为国能在而连突进行一项工程，包括提供、安装和启动132千伏特（kV）和33千伏特的开关设备、2X45百万伏安（MVA）132/33千伏特的变压器及相关配件以及土木工程。

工程预计1月动工并在动工期开始计算的546天内完成。

PSB与MLSB之间的联营属非公司联营，即没有特定的股权架构。

The Board of Directors of PESTECH wishes to announce that Tenaga Nasional Berhad had on 7 January 2013, issued a Letter of Acceptance to award a contract for the supply, erect and commissioning of 132KV and 33KV switchgear, 2 x 45MVA 132/33KV power transformer and ancillary equipment, complete with associated civil works for PMU Jerantut ("the Contract") to an unincorporated joint venture between PESTECH Sdn. Bhd. (PSB"), a wholly-owned subsidary of the Company and Mega Linear Sdn. Bhd. ("MLSB") ("the JV"). Information on the JV The formation of the JV between PSB and MLSB is an unincorporated joint venture instead of an equity share interest entity. This JV is meant to signify a joint effort of both parties involved to undertake the Contract. As such, this JV would not have specific equity shareholding structure for both PSB and MLSB. There will be no requirement of capital investment in the JV which gives rise to paid up share capital and the proportion of the profit sharing between MLSB and PSB has yet to be determined at this juncture. The percentage ratio pursuant to Paragraph 10.02 (g) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will not be applicable on the JV and there will be no necessity to obtain any approval from PESTECH's shareholders and any Government Authorities. Information on the Contract The Contract amount is RM15,962,000.00. The commencement date is expected to be sometime before end of January 2013 and the completion date shall be 546 days from the commencement date. The Contract is on a one-off project basis. The Contract will have no material effect on the revenue and earnings of the Group and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2013 but is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the Company. The Company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risk associated with the Contract such as availability and changes in the prices of raw materials. The Company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when it occurs. None of the Directors and/or Major Shareholders and/or persons connected to them, has any interest, direct or indirect in the JV as well as the Contract. Pestech to begin Laos-Thai power project by 2Q of 2013

PETALING JAYA: Integrated electric power technology, infrastructure and solutions provider Pestech International Bhd will start construction of a 115kV power transmission infrastructure in Laos, connecting the country with Thailand, this year.

Executive director and CEO Paul Lim Pay Chuan (photo) said negotiations on the project is at an “advanced” stage and that he is confident that construction can begin in the second-quarter (2Q) of the year.

“We will sign a contract agreement with Electricite Du Laos (EDL) to commence building the infrastructure,” he told The Malaysian Reserve in a recent interview.

EDL is a state-owned corporation in Laos under the Ministry of Energy and Mines which owns and operates the country’s main generation, transmission and distribution assets.

The agency also manages electricity imports into its grids and exports from its stations.

Laos has a long-term power development plan spanning from 2012- 2020 and the government has set clear targets of achieving 70% electricity access by 2010 and 90% by 2020, according to EDL’s website.

According to World Bank Group 2012 report, the country’s installed capacity is expected to reach 3,000MW by 2013.

Lim said the power purchase agreement between the two countries has already been signed which outlines the increased capacity of power required by Thailand.

“We have already identified the exact route for the transmission line, which is about 50km and we have also concluded our survey and identified the land for the Laos government to acquire.

“The project will involve extension of the existing substations, increasing capacity and construction of the transmission line and two substations, which goes all the way to the Thai border and Thai-based power contractors will take over from there on,” he said.

Once completed, the transmission line and power infrastructure will supply up to 200MW of power, on top of the existing 50MW, which is expected to contribute positively to the company’s revenue in 2014 and 2015, Lim said.

Pestech and its Laos-based joint-venture (JV) partner VLV Soumpholphakdy Sole Ltd, inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with EDL in September last year, to conduct feasibility studies of the 115kV power transmission line from Pakse, Laos to Laos-Thai border.

The project connects power supply from hydro plants located in Saravanh, a southern province of Laos to Thailand.

Through the MoU, EDL grants the JV companies the sole mandate to carry out all activities relevant to the feasibility studies and carry out the design, manufacturing, shop test and the delivery of the equipment and installation, construction and commissioning of the transmission line on an engineering, procurement and commissioning basis.

Pestech is principally engaged in the provision of comprehensive power system engineering and technical solution for the design, procurement and installation of high voltage (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV) substations, transmission lines and underground cables.

The company will also focus on assembly and manufacturing of power and control products used in the transmission and distribution of electricity.

On the domestic front, Lim said the company is currently constructing the Murun Junction substation for Sarawak Energy Bhd, which is the feedin substation for the Murun Dam. The RM92 million project, which was secured in early 2012, is expected to be completed in the 2Q14.

Lim said Sarawak, which is moving towards a 500kV backbone, has quite a number of projects in the pipeline, which includes a plan to have power transmission to Kalimantan, in which the company has also participated in the tender process.

Total tender pipeline for Pestech as of Jan 31 this year stands at RM880 million, with roughly RM180 million worth of bidding tenders in Sarawak alone.

（吉隆坡19日讯）Pestech国际（Pestech，5219，主板贸服股）子公司Pestech私人有限公司，取得Resolute Mining有限公司子公司———Societe Des Mines De Syama所颁发的930万令吉（298万美元）采购订单。

Pestech国际将为这家开采黄金的澳洲上市公司，位于西非马里南部的SYAMA Gold Mine设计、采购和施工225千伏（kV）的高压变电站。

这项工程预计在2013年4月开始动工，并将在2014年5月前的13个月内完工。

能源成本降

无论如何，该高压变电站电力供应将取代在该工地的柴油发电机，而Resolute Mining有限公司的能源成本相信将得以大幅降低。

(“PSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 18 March 2013 received a PO from RSG, an Australian Securities Exchange listed gold mining company, in relation to the engineering, procurement and commissioning of a 225kV high voltage substation for the Syama Gold Mine located in the south of Mali, West Africa. The site is approximately 30 kilometers from the Côte d'Ivoire border and 300 kilometers southeast of the capital Bamako. The electricity supply through the substation, to be constructed within the compound of the mines, will replace the onsite diesel generation of power and is expected to significantly lower utility costs for RSG. The power will be delivered from Sikasso to Syama approximately 72 kilometers away from Syama. The PO is valued at a total of USD2.982 million and it is anticipated to commence by April 2013 and to be completed within 13 months by May 2014. The Company also expects additional order from RSG to construct interconnecting substation of 225kV with Mali's existing grid at Sikasso and another connecting substation at Syama before power could be brought to the gold mine. This would be major milestone for PESTECH as it breaks through another new market in West African region after the earlier successful project in Ghana. The PO will have no material effect on the revenue and earnings of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2013 but is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the Group. 4亿合约支撑　PESTECH足忙2年

（吉隆坡8日讯）截至3月杪，PESTECH国际（PESTECH，5219，主板贸服股）已有11个项目在手，总值3亿9290万令吉。       

其中，有5个大型项目是位於柔佛、砂拉越及西非，共占该公司整体合约价值的65.8%，足以支撑该公司未来2年的业务。

在PESTECH国际手中的5个项目內，其中有4个是与政府所推出的不同区域发展项目有关。除了从OM Materials控股及砂拉越再生能源走廊（SCORE）的AsiaCement公司获得合约以外，该公司也从砂能源公司（Sarawak Energy Berhad）取得一项275/33kV变电站合约。

另外，PESTECH国际也获得柔佛努沙再也132/33kV金融中心变电站的电流驳接站（PMU）建设合约，为伊斯干达B旗舰区提供电源。该公司要延长国能（TENAGA，5347，主板贸服股）原有在拉慕尼亚湾的132kV变电站合约。

该公司也在建设基建，以製造90兆伏安（mva）的额外產能，提供电源给柔佛边佳兰（Pengerang）的石油提炼与石化综合发展计划（RAPID）项目。

太阳能发电方面，PESTECH国际也从Petronas Power私人有限公司取得一项工程总承包（EPC）合约。这亦是国油欲开拓绿色及再生能源良机的部份举措之一。

开启太阳能发电大门

儘管此合约价值相对较小，仅为120万令吉，但这可为该公司日后在参与太阳能发电相关的项目开启一扇门。

同时，该公司通过大马西门子公司（Siemens），也成功贏得一项与德国西门子能源自动化產品相关的增值经销商（VAR）合约。这將允许PESTECH国际以系统集成商的身份参与西门子的產品训练及吸收诀窍，同时也可获得西门子新电能自动化產品的最新消息。

这將允许该公司为全球的西门子服务，因其有能力为西门子系统进行升级，或扩展区域的西门子系统。
