（吉隆坡21日讯）邮件数量加速减少，导致大马邮政（Pos Malaysia Bhd）截至9月杪2019财政年第二季净亏1658万令吉，或每股2.12仙，为近10年来首次出现季度亏损。

上财年同期则净赚1883万令吉，或每股2.41仙。

集团总执行长Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor今日在文告指出：“邮件量加速收缩，继续成为拖累业绩的主要因素。电子报表和账单激增，导致邮件量大幅下降。”

次季营业额持平于5亿8873万令吉。

除了较高的营运和财务成本，其他业务也受挫，包括物流业务，收入降幅最大，跌20%或2111万令吉，至8260万令吉，主要由于项目物流下降，因为边佳兰炼油与石油化工综合发展计划（RAPID）处于完工的最后阶段。

即便如此，大马邮政仍乐观认为快递和航空业务将继续推动集团收入增长。其中，前者受到强劲的电子商务活动，以及该公司在国内的广泛最后一里网络和基础设施的推动。

“但我们也注意到，邮政服务、国际和物流业务面临巨大挑战，如果这些挑战持续，这可能会削弱集团的表现。”

Syed Md Najib说，由于工资和其他营运成本上升，通用服务成本不断上涨，公司正与内部和外部利益相关者合作，实施新的可持续通用服务模式，以解决邮件量下降的问题。

累积2019财年首半年表现，大马邮政净亏1160万令吉，或每股1.48仙，相比同期净赚5475万令吉，或每股6.99仙；营业额从12亿令吉，略跌至11亿8000万令吉。
