我在2013年在metro 做ivf 第一次就成功

Hi all. I would like to share my ivf journey with those of you who are interested in going through ivf.

On 2014, my husband and I wanted to have our first child before 30. After trying for 8 months or more, we decided to go on an ivf journey.

I got all my meds and started taking injections as according to my doctor's instructions. After my ovum pick up(OPU), our doctor advised us to breed my embryos into blastocysts for higher chances of pregnancy. We agreed and got 4 grade A blastocysts.

The doctor advised me to do frozen embryo transfer as I had 22 ovums collected. But I was so eager to have my baby so I just went ahead and did a fresh embryo transfer. The doctor transferred 2 blastocysts into my body. In the end I had very serious bloated stomach, I did not get pregnant.

After consultation with our doctor, he found out that my left Fallopian tube was blocked and suggested me to undergo a laparoscopy. During the laparoscopy, I had my left tube removed as advised.

After 2 cycles of periods, I went and did a frozen embryo transfer. The doctor transferred the remaining 2 blastocysts into my body. On the first day of my second transfer, a nurse advised me to increase my protein intake so I started taking Amway (from the day until  my delivery day). I slept without a pillow for the first 3 days, lay down as much as I could, and did no house chores for a month. I also drank fresh kampung chicken soup daily and had my mum's home cooked meals for 1 month. I don't know if any of these practices increased my chances or pregnancy or not, so just for your reference ya.

And thank God, I got pregnant with my first baby on the second transfer! Now my baby is almost 5 months and I'm going through my second ivf journey for my second child.
