答：聚美钢铁厂采取保守管理及稳健的商业模式，在不景气时仍可取得盈利，分析员预料该公司将在2017年取得创纪录盈利，主要是由增长的扁钢产品平均售价及销售量推动。

大华继显研究指出，聚美钢铁2016财政年净利按年激增153.7%，主要是较高产品平均售价及较低成本推动，因中国钢铁业减产、本地美佳钢铁厂去年9月关厂，使公司可进口10至15%较低的进口原料，预料产品价格走高及市场需求成长将持续至2017年。

该行预料，扁钢平均售价将保持升势，与长钢平均价走势一致，即于2017年第三季按季增长5.5%至每公吨2900令吉。扁钢在2017年第三季的需求殷切。同时聚美钢铁厂净利赚幅比同业来得高。

拟定10年扩充计划

聚美钢铁厂为专注生产钢管的利基扁钢制造商，将通过显著及与众不同的产能扩张计划，以延长其成长周期。

聚美钢铁拟定10年扩充计划，第一阶段将设立新厂生产较大直径钢管新产品，第二阶段则专注扩大巴生河流域市占地位，以进一步延长其业务成长周期。

聚美钢铁厂设立新厂，以生产本地市场没人生产较大直径钢管，预料将2021年完成，这项利基产品的价格料比现有产品平均售价取得300至500令吉溢价。

据初步估计，该间新工厂耗资1300万令吉，料在5、6年内即可回本，即全面落实后每年营运盈利介于100万至200万令吉之间。新工厂将使其产能增加20%，预料以内部资金融资。

自1994年上市以来，聚美钢铁厂从不间断地每年派发股息，过去10年，该公司的派发率平均为34.8%。2016年，中期股息为6仙及特别股息为3仙（40%派发率），周息率达到3.7%。

大华继显预测聚美钢铁厂于2017年周息率可达6.1%，或是40%派发率，因其慷慨的派息率及净现金状况，占其市值的13%。

该行给予“买进”评级，未来12个月目标价定在3令吉，或等于2018财政年预测本益比7.0倍。

聚美鋼鐵向馬證交所報備，受製造與貿易業帶動，第3季營業額揚升67%至1億3039萬令吉。

該公司首9個月淨利按年增63%至2808萬令吉；營業額揚升20%，達3億2996萬令吉。

赚幅与售价提高 聚美次季净利劲升63%

（吉隆坡14日讯）销售价和赚幅提高，带动聚美（Choo Bee Metal Industries Bhd）第二季净利按年劲升62.51%。

这家钢铁制造商今日向大马交易所报备，截至6月杪次季净利达1025万令吉，或每股9.41仙，相比上财年同期的631万令吉，或每股5.79仙。

季度营业额从1亿224万令吉，扬19.9%至1亿2259万令吉，归功于贸易业务的贡献提高，且销量也有所增加，惟被制造业务的贡献下降所抵销。

聚美指出，2018财政年首半年净赚2066万令吉，较同期的1786万令吉，按年上升15.68%；营业额由1亿9957万令吉，增18.86%至2亿3719万令吉。

虽然钢铁需求料迎来复苏，但该集团警告，中美贸易紧张局势升高及欧盟货币政策的变化，都可能削弱这种势头，即便尚未产生明显的影响。

“在过去的一个月里，新的业者也进入东盟区域市场，因出口钢厂正在寻找新市场，以替代美国。”

聚美表示，此外，国内政策变更及新政府削减开支的措施，可能会减缓基础设施项目，并可能对钢铁需求产生负面影响。

“但预计影响是暂时的，因这些措施相信对未来有利，并将使国家经济更加稳固。”

上半年净利猛挫91.66％至172万3000令吉，前期为2065万7000令吉。

次季营业额因销售吨数减少，而按年下滑13.88％至1亿零557万4000令吉，导致6个月累积营业额减少4.3％至2亿2699万7000令吉。

该公司发文告表示，铁矿沙价格飙至5年高位，推动7月国际钢铁价格进一步走高，但国内缺乏显著建筑和产业活动需求，抑制钢铁需求和价格。

“尽管如此，我们仍看好东海岸铁路计划（ECRL）、大马城等基础建设项目，以及公共交通基础建设项目重新启动，下半年钢铁需求将走向复苏。因此，集团将继续专注提升产品素质，以及确保采购成本效率和库存管理策略，来强化产品传递效率和深化海外市场表现。”
