Working experience and occupation	The late Datuk Seri Tan Jing Nam was appointed to the Board of Tanco Holdings Berhad ("Tanco") on 28 July 1995 and was Tanco's Group Managing Director since 23 October 1995. The late Datuk Seri Tan Jing Nam is also a member of the Remuneration Committee of Tanco.The late Datuk Seri Tan Jing Nam has extensive experience in the property and construction sectors and was the driving force behind the successful development of Bandar Country Homes, a self-contained township in Rawang. Under the leadership of the late Datuk Seri Tan Jing Nam, the Tanco Group had expanded its property development and construction businesses to include vacation clubs and resorts related activities.

Description	Status of Memorandum of Understanding between Palm Springs Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Tanco Holdings Berhad ("Tanco" or "Company") and Evergreen Offshore Inc.
Further to the Company's announcement dated 29 June 2018 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") dated 15 October 2016 between Palm Springs Development Sdn. Bhd. (“PSD”), a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Tanco, and Evergreen Offshore Inc. (“EOI”)  under the Asia Pacific One Belt One Road Tourism Industry Fund for the Malaysia Tourism Development Investments Projects, the Board of Directors of the Company would like  to announce that PSD had on 26 September 2018 received a  letter from EOI dated 26 September 2018 informing that EOI needs to terminate the MOU with immediate effect due to some unexpected problems arising from its identified potential investor(s). The termination of the MOU does not have a material financial effect on the Company. This announcement is dated 27 September 2018.
