Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Sunsuria wishes to announce that Sunsuria City Amenities Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sunsuria Arena Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 17 May 2019, acquired 100% equity interest of Vibrant Blossom Sdn Bhd (“VBSB”) comprising of one (1) ordinary share in VBSB for a cash consideration of RM1.00 (“Share Acquisition”). Upon completion of the said acquisition, VBSB becomes an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. VBSB was incorporated on 2 May 2019 as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 2016 with an issued share capital of one (1) ordinary share. VBSB is currently a dormant company and has not commenced any business operation since the date of its incorporation. The intended principal activities of VBSB will be operations and management of food and beverage ("F&B") businesses, and proprietor of restaurants. The Share  Acquisition  shall provide  the  Group  with  a  new  company  intended  to  undertake future F&B project of the Group in its expansion plan. The acquisition of VBSB is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sunsuria and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 30 September 2019.
