竞争激烈兼开销庞大 马来前锋报亏损恶化

（吉隆坡26日讯）马来前锋报（马）有限公司（UTUSAN，5754，贸易服务组）公布，在截至2014年12月31日止第4财季，录得的净亏损按年从466万令吉大幅扩大852.2％至4432万令吉，而每股亏损由前期的4.20仙，恶化至40.03仙。

至于营业额仅获7664万令吉，较去年同期的8982万令吉下降15％。

该报业集团致函大马交易所表示，今次业绩较差，主要是收入减少、贸易中出现较高的减值费用，以及支付其他应收款。”

此外，它的所有业务包括出版、发行和广告的收入皆减少。而在该季度中，投资控股和管理服务的税前亏损也较高。

另一方面，在2014全年财政年，马来前锋报的净亏损按年从1621万令吉飙升至8090万令吉，至于营业额由前期的3亿4243万令吉下降15％至2亿9132万令吉。

每股亏损高达73.05仙，较去年同期的14.64仙进一步恶化。

该集团预计，鉴于广告支出和发行报纸的业务所面临的竞争日益激烈，因此今年仍然充满挑战。

它在展望报告中说：“不过，我们仍将继续改善我们报纸的内容和策略，并为广告客户提供创意的配套。”

该集团强调旗下的旗舰报纸马来前锋报和前锋报星期刊，已作出一些改革，包括增加新专栏和更新旧专栏，而网上前锋报已经更换了新面貌。

马来前锋报称：“我们将会继续在营运中，采取谨慎的节省成本策略。除此之外，我们正在采取措施，通过利用报纸和杂志的有效配置供应来降低回收率。”【光华日报财经】

沽清Swan大马40% 前锋报赚362万

（吉隆坡24日讯）马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）脱售手中所有Swan大马有限公司40%的股权予Schwan-Stabilo Schwanhauser GMBH，售价为3180万令吉。

马来前锋报向马交所报备称，该项脱售活动“将能改善该集团的营运现金流财务状况”。

“在考虑到Swan集团上财年未经审计的6940万令吉净资产值后，马来前锋报在自愿买卖公平交易基准下脱售股份。”

该公司称，这项脱售活动将获得362万令吉回酬，因为脱售价比Swan大马2014财年的净资产值高12.7%。【南洋网财经】

传赛莫达前锋报竞购PMNB

（吉隆坡7日讯）消息指出，土著钜商丹斯里赛莫达和巫统持有的马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股），正争夺收购大马国家印刷有限公司（PNMB），结果最快会在6月出炉。

《The Edge》财经周刊引述消息报道，在这场非公开招标中，赛莫达的Sutera Bakti，以及马来前锋报的Utusan Prisama，是两大领跑者。

据了解，其他的竞标者可能还包括安全卡制造与供应商德达飞讯（DSONIC，5216，主板贸服股），以及公务员退休基金（KWAP）与一家赛莫达相关公司的联营公司。

PNMB由财政部持有，是政府其中一只“金母鸡”，负责政府部门的书籍和材料印刷，也是护照和其他政府文件的印刷商，且与内政部和大马皇家海关拥有大马卡供应合约，总值5亿令吉。

该公司甚至一度被视为潜在上市的官联公司，但政府因为油价走低，需要脱售手上企业来弥补收入缺口。

或遭反垄断调查

消息人士也指出，由于赛莫达和马来前锋报兼处于印刷市场，收购PNMB可能会导致市场垄断，所以若任何一方成功购得，料将面临严谨的反垄断调查。

目前未知政府做最后决定，最快可能是在6月。

PNMB在全国各地的“黄金地点”拥有12个办事处，其中陈秀连路的办公楼，就已占地8万3000平方尺（接近2英亩），保守估计每平方尺价值为200至250令吉。据了解，赛莫达的竞标一开始并不受看好，因为他曾收购太多官联公司，也担忧过度举债的危险。【南洋网财经】

收窄亏损支撑报章 前锋报进军新业务

（吉隆坡3日讯）为了收窄亏损，马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）在维持报章业务的同时，计划涉足其他业务，以拓展公司净利基础。

董事经理拿督莫哈末诺丁阿巴斯指出，作为主要收入的报章业务的业绩下滑，但是通过进军其他业务，将可支撑报章业务。

他说，该公司投资了一家技能学院Institut Vokasional Utusan（IVU），将在明年首季投入运作。

该学院的投资数额少于100万令吉，并将动用到万宜Sri Utusan大厦提供的设备。

“在开始阶段，将有150名学生上课，并提供10个课程，如新闻系、摄影系、平面设计和动画系等。”

面对网络新闻的需求，该公司也与时并进涉足社交媒体。

他说，公司通过社交媒体举办一些活动，同时，和部落客接洽以寻觅新的媒体做推广。

通过上述采取的措施，他相信可扩大公司的立足点。

该公司上财年营业额为2亿9120万令吉，逊于2013财年的3亿4243万令吉，而净亏损按年扩大，从2013财年的1621万令吉，加剧至8197万令吉。【南洋网财经】

机构投资者出手买入 前锋报飙34.62%

（吉隆坡26日讯）机构投资者今早买入马来前锋报（马）有限公司（UTUSAN，5754，贸易服务组）的10万股，该股股价一度飙涨34.62%。

闭市时，马来前锋报涨幅收窄，报65仙，上扬13仙或25%，成交量达14万9800股，超越马股表现，富时隆综指下滑4.14点至1706.79点。

马来前锋报此前一度上涨18仙或34.62%，报70仙。

这家公司的业务包括马来前锋报报章的出版、印刷与发行，其他业务则为电台与电视广告。

政府上周五在2016年财政预算案中宣布，为国营广播数码化计划拨款2亿5000万令吉，以加强影音并为电视内容与互动数据交易增值。

政府9月也曾宣布特别经济委员会的刺激方案，注资200亿令吉予ValueCap私人有限公司以救市。

KJ证券行私人有限公司一名抽佣经纪表示，有很多散户抛售股票，惟马股开盘的首个小时内，有一名“大买家”出手购入约10万股。

他向theedgemarkets.com表示：“这通常是机构投资者买入的。第一项交易以5000股开始，稍后在开市一小时内逐步增至10万股。”

前锋报4800万 卖子公司20%

（吉隆坡22日讯）马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）宣布以4800万令吉，脱售Maqamad私人有限公司（前称Sun&Son）的20%股权。

根据文告，子公司Utusan置地，是在上周四（17日）与MHA59私人有限公司签署协议，以脱售Maqamad的10万股股权。

Maqamad的业务主要涉及房产发展及一般贸易，且正放眼积极增购地库。

Utusan置地将在协议执行期间，先收到500万令吉；其余将在明年次季前全数收获。

马来前锋报表示，早期投资在Maqamad的初期成本为10万令吉，脱售所得将用来支持日常营运。

（吉隆坡26日讯）基于买方未能如期交付剩余的款项，马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）宣布710万令吉的售地计划告吹。

根据文告，独资子公司Utusan Land私人有限公司（ULand）于去年11月24日，和Tristar Maximum私人有限公司签署买卖协议，以脱售雪州乌鲁雪兰莪一片工业土地。

鉴于TristarMaximum未能在双方同意延长的期限内，支付剩余的款项，因此宣布终止买卖协议，同时买方早前支付的10%订金和逾期付款利息将会被没收。【南洋网财经】

Reference is made to our announcement dated 25 November 2014 in respect of the Sale and Purchase Agreement ('the SPA') that was entered between ULAND and TRISTAR in relation to the disposal of industrial lands identified as HS(D)8211 PT7133 and HS(D)8212 PT7134 both located in Mukim Serendah, Daerah Ulu Selangor, Negeri Selangor. The Board of Directors of Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Berhad ('UTUSAN' or 'the Company') wishes to announce that ULAND has terminated the SPA through the issuance of Notice of Immediate Termination dated 8 December 2015 ('Immediate Termination'). The Immediate Termination is due to a breach of the SPA by TRISTAR as TRISTAR had failed to pay the balance purchase price on or before the expiry of the mutually agreed extended completion date of 24 September 2015. （吉隆坡25日訊）馬來前鋒報（UTUSAN，5754，主要板貿服）截至2015年12月31日財年業績表現有所改善，全年稅前虧損報1749萬令吉，比較2014年虧損額高達8365萬令吉。

該公司向馬證交所報備指出，2015財年營業額為2億4838萬令吉，比2014年的2億9120萬令吉減少14.7%。

該公司在去年第4季度取得2557萬令吉稅前盈利，前年同期則蒙受4520萬令吉虧損；去年第4季的營業額為6745萬令吉，較2014年同期的7651萬令吉減少11.8%。
