与安康联营广告业务
前锋报获车站车厢合约
2016年9月30日
（吉隆坡29日讯）马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）旗下Utusan Airtime私人有限公司所组成的联营公司，获捷运公司（MRT Corp）颁发两个广告配套合约。
根据文告，上述合约分别是配套A（车站广告）和配套C（车厢广告）。
马来前锋报表示，Utusan Airtime是在6月8日与安康（ANCOM，4758， 主板工业产品股）旗下的Puncak Berlian、VGI全球媒体、和Ikatan Asli成立联营公司，名为Titanium Compass私人有限公司，并在6月16日参与竞标。
文告指出，捷运公司的广告专营权为期10年，将在双溪毛糯-加影捷运路线首期准备启用的当天生效。
该公司估计，该路线的首期项目，料在今年杪开始运作，而整个系统则预计会在明年中。
马来前锋报表示，赢得竞标可让公司进一步扩展广告业务。【e南洋】

前锋报次季净亏收窄
2017年8月15日
（吉隆坡14日讯）马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）截至6月杪次季，净亏收窄至1067万7000令吉或每股9.64仙，上财年同季净亏1625万8000令吉。
马来前锋报今日向交易所报备，营业额按年下跌7.32%，从5808万1000令吉，跌至5383万1000令吉。
合计首半年，净亏收窄至3351万9000令吉；营业额报9534万1000令吉，按年减少9.90%。
业绩失利归咎于广告收入减少，不过原料成本显著减少，有效缓冲营业额的跌势。
次季营业额，比首季的4150万令吉挣多1230万令吉，归因于出版、分销和广告业务，这也令当季税前亏损仅1070万2000令吉，低于首季的2280万令吉，以及去年同期的1566万令吉。
马来前锋报预测，今年我国的经济温和增长，鉴于印刷媒体公司持续面临挑战，董事部保持谨慎看待今年表现。
“我们的核心业务依然是印刷媒体，将积极寻求新业务支撑核心业务活动。”
该公司指出，正在探索产业和资讯工艺的新业务。
此外，马来前锋报也将继续实施成本合理化策略，以减轻收入下跌影响。【e南洋】

马来前锋报卖产业子公司60%
2017年9月20日
（吉隆坡19日讯）马来前锋报（UTUSAN，5754，主板贸服股）将以6万令吉脱售独资子公司Utusan Studios私人有限公司的6万股普通股，给Rawdah S&S私人有限公司。
马来前锋报今日向交易所报备，已与Rawdah S&S签署股权买卖协议，以每股1令吉，脱售Utusan Studios的6万股普通股，相等于总发行和缴足股本的60%。
完成脱售后，Utusan Studios将不再是马来前锋报的子公司，但将成为其联号公司。
马来前锋报指出，最新脱售活动，是业务精简策略一部分，并符合公司最佳利益。
脱售所得，将用作马来前锋报的营运资本。
Rawdah S&S的业务主要涉及产业单位信托、房地产活动，以及投资咨询服务。【e南洋】

（吉隆坡7日讯）一直蒙亏的马来前锋报（Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Bhd），委任巫统政治家Datuk Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir为执行主席，即时生效。
此前，该集团4名董事自愿离职，包括主席Tan Sri Mohamad Fatmi Che Salleh、 Datuk Seri Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad、Jamalul Kiram Mohd Zakaria及Mohd Yusof Abu Othman。
Abdul Aziz今年55岁，他也是嘉利丹（Kretam Hholdings Bhd）执行主席。
同时，他还是Rangkaian Hotel Seri Malaysia私人有限公司执行主席，以及Gold Bridge Engineering and Construction Bhd董事部成员。
这名吉打居林－万拉峇鲁区（Kulim-Bandar Baharu）前国会议员曾于2010至2015年期间，担任Destini Bhd执行主席。
根据稍早前的文告，由巫统掌控的马来前锋报表示，在5月12至15日相继离职的4名董事，是“整体重组计划”的一部分。

阿末扎希前新闻秘书与3人加入马来前锋报董事部

（吉隆坡17日讯）前副首相拿督斯里阿末扎希的前新闻秘书Datuk Dr Ibrahim Yahaya是加入马来前锋报（Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd）董事部的4位新成员之一。
其他3人是前银行家Wan Zalizan Wan Jusoh、资深律师Datuk Mohd Azmi Othman 和Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari。
马来前锋报今日向大马交易所报备，现年58岁的Ibrahim受委为独立非执行董事。他自2015年8月至2018年5月担任阿末扎希的新闻秘书。
在此之前，他在2009年担任通讯及多媒体部的广播总监。他于2011年是该部的媒体顾问。
Ibrahim于2015年1月至8月任Ria Public Relations私人有限公司的董事经理，而2013年8月至2014年12月期间担任Bernama TV的总执行长。
另外，55岁的Ahmad Fauzi目前是Persada Tenaga私人有限公司的董事经理，而45岁的Wan Zalizan是Dayanine Equity私人有限公司的董事。
年届50的Mohd Azmi目前是金控股（KYM Holdings Bhd）和Majuperak Holdings Bhd的董事部成员。
早前，马来前锋报4名董事自愿辞职，他们分别是主席Tan Sri Mohamad Fatmi Che Salleh、 Datuk Seri Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad、Jamalul Kiram Mohd Zakaria及Mohd Yusof Abu Othman。
6月7日，巫统政治家Datuk Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir获委为执行主席。
