Authorities widened the probe this week to include executives from at least four more companies six months after the rout that triggered a plunge of least 87% in the shares of Blumont Group, Asiasons Capitaland LionGold Corp. over three days last October. Magnus Energy Group, Innopac Holdings, ISR Capital and ITE Electric Co. said they or their units are being asked to assist. IPCO International said late yesterday it’s also probed.

Elsewhere, significant shareholder Edward Lee Ewe Ming raised his indirect stake in Ipco International. On Nov 28, three million shares that Lee was deemed to be interested in were acquired on the open market. The transaction brought his indirect stake to 500.1 million shares, or 9.8% of the company. Lee also has a direct interest of 1,000 shares in the company.
