Green Lantern Corps May Have Been Pushed Back By Warner, But It's Not Time To Panic
Based upon a new report from The Wrap, it seems that Warner Bros. has majorly shuffled a portion of its slated films. This decision has entailed moving Godzilla 2 from June 8, 2018 to March 22, 2019, as well as bumping Godzilla vs. King Kong May 29, 2020. Additionally, WB also revealed that a certain untitled DCEU film has experienced a one-month bump from June 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020. Although Warner has confirmed nothing, many have drawn the conclusion that this particular film is none other than Green Lantern Corps. If this is true, then it will only further distance the coming Green Lantern solo movie from the slated June 14, 2019 release date of the second Justice League film.
However, it’s worth noting that Warner Bros. has not confirmed whether or not this bumped DC film is even Green Lantern Corps at all. Many have simply made the assumption because the 2020 release date seems to line up with what we already knew about the film’s tentative release date. The one-month delay also doesn’t necessarily signal problems behind the scenes at WB, as this merely means that the postponed film will simply hit theaters two weeks after a competing Marvel project, as opposed to two weeks before.

A third rumor also has surfaced, as Eric Vepse of Ain't It Cool News has heard that the George Miller rumor is nothing but "bogus".
