（吉隆坡26日讯）家禽生产商龙合国际（Leong Hup International Bhd）预计，到2024年，麦可思（The Baker’s Cottage）的年收入将达5亿令吉。

执行董事兼集团总执行长丹斯里刘团源表示，集团独资子公司龙合（马）私人有限公司计划进一步扩大麦可思的门店网络。

他今日出席龙合国际首个股东常年大会后向记者说：“集团还计划将业务扩展至我们所在的其他国家，但这取决于疫情形势和今年的表现。”

龙合于6月1日以1794万令吉，收购了食品制造商与分销商麦可思私人有限公司的全部股权。

刘团源说，收购麦可思使公司能够向下游发展，并为家禽产品开辟新的收入来源。

截至3月杪首季，龙合国际净赚2178万令吉，低于上财年同期的6058万令吉；营业额也从15亿1000万令吉，下跌4.8%至14亿3000万令吉。

该集团指出，营业额下降是由于大马的饲料销售和蛋类平均售价走低、印尼的日龄雏鸡的平均售价和饲料销售减，以及越南肉鸡的平均售价跌。

Pursuant to Paragraph 10.08(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of LHI wishes to announce that Leong Hup (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“LHM”) and Leong Hup Agrobusiness Sdn. Bhd. (“LHASB”), the subsidiary companies of LHI have on 1 June 2020, entered into the following agreements:- Share Acquisition Agreement between LHM and Emerging Glory Sdn Bhd (“EGSB”) for the acquisition of the entire 43,432,000 ordinary shares representing 100% of the issued and paid-up share capital of TBC from EGSB for a purchase consideration of RM17,937,574.00 only subject to the terms and conditions stated therein; Business Acquisition Agreement (“BAA”) between LHASB and Astaka Shopping Centre (Muar) Sdn. Bhd. (“Astaka”) for the acquisition of The Baker’s Cottage brand bakery business (“The Baker’s Cottage Retail Business”) owned and operated by Astaka at Freeport A’Famosa Outlet Village, Pusat Perniagaan Payamas in Tangkak, Plaza Sungai Udang in Melaka, Taman Komersial Senawang in Seremban, Pusat Perdagangan Dato Lau Bong Wong in Muar and Pusat Perniagaan Sinar Bakri in Muar, including but not limited to all the operating assets comprising tenanted property(ies), other fixed assets and inventories which are necessary for the continuation of The Baker’s Cottage Retail Business presently carried on, and including employees for a purchase consideration of RM1,531,300.00 only subject to the terms and conditions stated therein; and BAA between LHASB and Poly-Yarn Industries Sdn. Bhd. (“PYISB”) for the acquisition of The Baker’s Cottage Retail Business owned and operated by PYISB at 26-1B, Jalan SS6/3 in Kelana Jaya, Taman Sri Manja in Petaling Jaya and No. 112-G, Jalan Setia Gemilang (BJ) U13/BJ in Setia Alam, including but not limited to all the operating assets comprising tenanted property(ies), other fixed assets and inventories which are necessary for the continuation of The Baker’s Cottage Retail Business presently carried on, and including employees for a purchase consideration of RM862,126.00 only upon such terms and conditions as stipulated therein. The Board of Directors of Leong Hup International Berhad (“LHI” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Datuk Lau Joo Hong (“Datuk Lau”) as the Group Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) with effect from 29 September 2020. As the Group COO, Datuk Lau shall have oversight of operational matters under LHI and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) as well as assume responsibility for the execution of the Group’s overall strategies. Apart from his new role as Group COO, Datuk Lau continues his present position as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) for the Group’s Vietnam operations. Datuk Lau, male, a Malaysian aged 50, was appointed as a Director of LHI on 9 September 2014, prior to its listing to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. He has over 21 years of experience and expertise in the integrated livestock industry and retail market. He began his career in the family poultry business in 1991 when he joined one of the Group’s subsidiaries which was principally involved in the processing and marketing of chicken and related products, where he oversaw the entire operations of that subsidiary. In 1994, he was also assigned the responsibility of overseeing the entire operations of another subsidiary principally involved in food processing products. He was transferred to Astaka Shopping Centre (Muar) Sdn Bhd (“Astaka”), another family business in 1996 where he was responsible for the overall operations of Astaka until the family’s decision to venture into Vietnam’s poultry business in 2007 where he planned and executed the expansion plan. He led the Group’s Vietnam operations as Deputy CEO until his promotion in 2014 to CEO. He has been leading the expansion of the Group’s Vietnam operations since its incorporation.
