Description	DELAY OF THE COMMENCEMENT OF MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS OF THE FACTORY COMPLEX LOCATED AT NO. 18 VSIP II-A, STREET 23, VIETNAM-SINGAPORE INDUSTRIAL PARK II-A, VINH TAN COMMUNE, TAN UYEN TOWN, BINH DUONG PROVINCE, VIETNAM ("VSIP II")
We refer to the Prospectus of Techbond Group Berhad ("Techbond" or "the Company") dated 13 November 2018 and the announcement made by the Company on 23 May 2019. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used throughout the announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the previous announcement. The Board of Directors ("the Board") of the Company wishes to announce that the VSIP II Factory Complex has yet to be handed over to Techbond MFG Vietnam Co. Ltd. due to pending of the issuance of the relevant certifications ("the Certifications") by the respective departments of the Vietnamese authority. The delay in the issuance of the Certifications was due to the COVID-19 outbreak, where the government of Vietnam had recently announced the implementation of Social Distancing Order throughout the nation for a period of 14 days starting from 1 April 2020 and a possibility of extension beyond 15 April 2020. Following thereto, the installation of machineries in VSIP II Factory Complex is also expected to be delayed. At the same time, the Board wishes to inform that the commencement date of the manufacturing operations in April 2020 as stated in the Company's prospectus dated 13 November 2018 will be delayed until further notice. The delay in the installation of machineries in VSIP II Factory Complex and commencement of manufacturing operations is not expected to have a material financial impact to the Group. Further announcement will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there is any material development on the above matter. This announcement is dated 9 April 2020.

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary company, Techbond Greentech Sdn. Bhd. ("TGSB"), has on 9 June 2020 received the polyol formulation from the Malaysia Palm Oil Board as part of the collaboration between both Parties in pioneering non-toxic palm oil based industrial adhesives. TGSB will use Malaysian palm oil or its derivatives to conduct labaratory testing as required to ensure usability of the Workable Formulation as one of the various components to be incorporated in adhesives application.
