Carey unveiled her scent to beauty editors at a lavish cocktail party in Soho Monday night, which she hosted with Elizabeth Arden, her fragrance licensee. And if Carey's musical prowess extends to her fragrance, Arden will have a hit on its hands: Carey is the best-selling female musical artist of all time, with astring of 17 number-one singles - not to mention a five-octave range - to her credit. Carey has also won fiveGrammy Awards, nine American Music Awards and Billboard's "Artist of the Decade" award for her singing and songwriting talents. She is currently recording a new album.

The M by Mariah Carey scent, which the singer created with perfumer Carlos Benaim of International Flavors & Fragrances, is a floriental. It has top notes of marshmallow and sea breeze accord, a heart of Living Tahitian Tiare and gardenia and a drydown of sheer amber, patchouli and Moroccan incense.
An eau de parfum spray, M by Mariah Carey will be available in three sizes: 1 oz. for $38, 1.7 oz. for $48 and 3.3 oz. for $58. A 0.5-oz. parfum, $175, and a 6.7-oz. body lotion, $28, also will be sold.
The bottle, created by Arden's Jean Antretter, is a lavender glass orb with a subtle wave design and a silver rope-patterned neck. The cap is topped by Carey's signature butterfly. The outer carton features fluttering butterflies, with a front panel that opens to reveal the fragrance.

瓶身采用熏衣草紫色[具体造型部分很难用中文表述，不翻译，请大家直接参考图片]。另外图片中没有展示的外包装采用了飞舞的蝴蝶图案，并且是前开式
还有已经明确是女香了，至少近期应该不太可能会有男香的
PS：1盎司大概是28.3495克，所以1.7盎司大约是48克多一点，3.3盎司大约是93.5克多；0.5盎司约是14克多，6.7盎司将近是190克

过几天就在PARIS演唱,很期待...

我有去看啊...我还记得等到很久...他好像接近9.00才出场...
那天我3.00下午就去等了...4.00多的时候还下雨...
不过真高兴可以去看到她的LIVE... |

Rap-Up: "I heard Janet is in the studio working on a new album. What can you tell us about that?"
Jermaine Dupri: "I can't tell you nothing really, I don't know, I've been in the studio with Usher and Mariah right now. She's [Janet] in the studio though."

MIMI刚刚巴黎这场演唱会是...对嘴的.... 但只看到DREAMLOVER 1分钟多的片段,希望不是整场对嘴啦!!
不然就很失望下....
CHARMBRACELET 演唱会大概9点半才开场啊!!!
你比我更厉害...我5点去排队....
结果淋雨到7点....全身湿完....
进场又等两个小时....等到干完....
MIMI才终于出场!
原本很多怨气的,但MIMI一出场,HEARTBREAKER绕全场,心情就HIGH到顶点!
完全忘完之前的事....
但现场FANS太热情了,首首都全场大合唱,我根本听不清楚MIMI的声音.....
每次她一飙海豚音,FANS就喊....
我身边的人喊到喉咙都爆"!!
我就聪明些,带BIBI去吹!MIMI一唱完歌就死命吹!
最后HERO最后一句,第一次听到MIMI唱这首歌飙海豚音....劲!!
那你应该有很多她的收藏品吧?
现场演唱的片段多吗?
我这两三年来,收集不少...
从她出道到最新的演唱片段,大概不下400首吧?
我也没有正式数过... |

用心唱，一定能感动人...
更何况，她的Vocal那么强...
但可惜，她的声音开始变质了...
用不正确的方法唱歌，就是会这样...
虽然她的方法已经正确很多了...但，习惯性摩擦声带就是会这样...
希望有一天能看到她继续登上高峰...
引领音乐...

如果她还不正确,都不懂谁是正确的了...
MIMI无论在运气(但现场演唱每次开始时都很紧张,呼吸很大声),高低音的处理都很棒!
甚至可以用C6的NOTE以上的音域来唱歌词(不只是飙海豚音哦!是唱出歌词).
能这样的人不多,我知道的只有georgia brown,minnie riperton,betty wright, debelah morgan,chante moore & phoebe snow.
要在这样高音域唱歌词是相当困难的,因为气的控制很重要,太多太用力就会很刺耳,不好听.
比起其他能发海豚音的歌手,MIMI的技巧可以说更胜一酬!
我觉得就算再正确的方法,唱那么多年声音还是会受伤的.
像阿妹,最近的曹格,外国的天后ARETHA FRANKLIN,WHITNEY HOUSTON....都一样.
没有几个人像PATTI LABELLE 那样,飙高音飙了40多年还是那么嘹亮!
可能她的声线天生就是甜蜜型的,CELINE DION也是这型.
歌曲难度高,高音飙的多,又经常唱现场,声带没有充分休息的机会,自然会受损.
MIMI在2000年后声音明显变质....时好时坏.而且上美国以外的娱乐节目95%都对嘴.
演唱会就场场都是LIVE的.
所以很多真音的高音都明显飙得吃力!经常用大合唱来掩盖....
上了年纪,她比以前更会保护声带了.这是好事,毕竟这是她的本钱嘛!!
让我想起WHITNEY HOUSTON,哎....很可惜!!!
不过,重点不在声音的好坏.
MIMI毕竟是天后,能用很多技巧,方式演绎歌曲.
重点是她的歌还是可以感动我们....
她这个9月一定会再次以她的声音/新单曲征服全球歌迷的!!
期待!!!

晚生不是说她“不正确”，
晚生也说了她“已经正确很多了”
其实，那是必然的...因为流行歌手，曲风如果介于流行与摇滚之间，
为了要有那种摇滚的味道，他们会摩擦他们的声带...而这种方法本来就是不正确的...
虽然为了制造效果，无可避免...晚生看到了另外一位后起之秀也是这样...那就是Kelly Clarkson...
Celine Dion因为多唱慢抒情的...飚高音时也用美声唱法...所以没有那么伤... |

你用“晚生“来称呼自己。。。搞到我好像一个老前辈。。。
kelly clarkson? 她的声音已经沙到不行了。。。
怕他迟早步入WHITNEY的后尘。。。
她参加美国偶像时声音很棒，但最后那1-2个星期，声音已经喊到有点沙哑了。。。
总决赛唱A MOMENT LIKE THIS明显吃力，声线沙哑。。。跟刚刚参赛时差很远。
希望他好好保护嗓子，不然以后不用唱摇滚了。。。
其实我觉得他们的声音天生就是有点沙的，再加上这样操法，就更容易沙哑了。
你看JENNIFER HOLLIDAY, PATTI LABELLE, YOLANDA ADAMS。。。每次喊到喉咙都爆，但依然一点事都没有。。。真是神奇。 |

因爲他們用Timbre支撐他們的高音...
如果沒有這種技巧，就會增加聲帶的負擔...
使用Timbre，是美聲唱法的技巧...
Mariah的技巧沒有錯...她也是用Timbre，所以上高音時才會那麽渾厚有力，不會讓你有擔心她會破音的感覺...這是對的...
但他們也同時喜歡摩擦聲帶...而這本來就是一種會傷害聲帶的技巧... |

超级喜欢Mariah Carey的Bringing on the heartbreak,
虽然是翻唱作，
但我觉得很Rock and roll原版,
跟翻唱版的味道截然不同，
Mariah唱出对秋水伊人的惦挂、感情婉转凄凉的感受
最令人听到耳油都留出来的是后段的海豚音，
太高音了吧！！！！
Can't Let Go绝对是经典之作，
若在夜澜人静处聆听这首歌，
开端的海豚音简直可以温柔地杀死我了！！！
我较迟认识Mariah，
在Glitter专辑才开始对这只花蝴蝶大大的提高注意力，
我很钟爱Never too far这首歌，
但更吸引我的是Lover Boy这首充满淫荡"淫歌，
临尾的海豚音叫到真的令人有点把持不住。。
从这张专辑开始，
我才从以前一直口误发音的Mae ri eh矫正正确，
即Me Rai Ah...
有点好笑。。。。
