（吉隆坡31日讯）在皇帽（Carlsbg，2836，主板消费产品股）的“必胜策略”下，该公司将致力成为全马的最好的啤酒公司，为客户创造实际价值。

该公司董事经理殷守仁在年度报告中指出，去年对该公司来说是充满挑战的一年，尽管上半年业绩表现不尽理想，但下半年的业绩却逐渐走强。

他说，原料价格高涨已成为许多商家的负担，但在集团的“卓越计划”（Excellence Projects)下，皇帽已全力控制原料价格对赚幅的影响。

减少入口税

“如较早前宣布的那样，皇帽集团合约制造商－新加坡皇帽有限公司已转移其供应阵地予临近地区，这能减少入口税，这也能提高该集团的出口营业额及2008年赚幅造成影响。”

他说，大马是继挪威后全球第二高的国产税国，他希望政府在未来几年都不会调高其国产税，再者，在国产税高涨的情况下，无疑会促使更多的走私活动。

“虽然政府在打击走私活动在近年来已经取得成效，但皇帽也希望政府能继续打击该些啤酒走私活动。”

Carlsberg’s new growth strategy shows results

SUBANG: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd’s revised growth strategy, implemented last June to boost performance, is showing encouraging results, said managing director Soren Holm Jensen.

He said the revised strategy under the five “Must Win Battles” by 2009 plan initiated in the second half of last year by the new management had placed Carlsberg on the road to recovery in terms of performance and growth.

“Our first quarter results for FY08 should be out soon,” he told reporters after the company’s AGM yesterday.

Jensen said the company revised its growth strategy mid-way through last year, given its poor quarterly showing before the fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2007 (FY07), during which net profit fell to RM78.5mil compared with RM85.9mil in FY06.

The company’s “Must Win Battles” entails rebuilding a winning culture, maintaining market leadership in the mainstream beer segment, developing a stronger portfolio of brands with special focus on the premium beer segment, driving excellence in sales execution and establishing a solid platform for growth.

“The implementation of the projects under 'Must Win Battles' is being done in phases to ensure a stronger position to grow profitable brand share for the long-term,” said Jensen.

He said an area of opportunity for Carlsberg was to try to capture a bigger slice of the local premium beer segment.

“Currently, Carlsberg has about 20% share of the segment but the company believes it can do better,” he said, but declined to disclose the target.

On challenges facing the industry, Jensen said escalating material costs was a concern, especially raw materials such as hops and malt, as well as aluminium in packaging.

“But the greatest cost to our business is excise duties and ad valorem tax amounting to 47.2% of group revenue,” he said, adding that the duties imposed by Malaysia were the second highest in the world after Norway.

Jensen said the high excise duties encouraged smuggling and made beer products less affordable to locals and tourists.

“It is our hope that the current level of exercise duties does not rise further until 2011,” he said, adding that there was a limit to driving down cost through operational efficiency.

如果以经营者的角度来看，皇帽啤酒这类的饮料生意，
利润其实是可以很高的，如果单单以每瓶的成本计算，
由于它是大量生产，我估计至少可以一元赚得十元。

但由于有数个新牌子抢滩，所以它的市场目前有缩短的迹像，
加上它的原料黄豆不断起价，也造成它的获利减少，
不过它好像没有将成本转嫁给消费者，
可能是因为竞争大之外，也有可能是它有能力将成本的涨幅，
自我消化，因为这类的饮料生意的利润实在是高得惊人。

大家对Carlsberg 这只高股息股有什么看法？目前价位RM4.04...每年股息有0.45 before tax.. DY 高达8.6-9%  ....小弟想买10粒来长期投资。。好过放定期才3.8%而已。。。

现今RM3.80的价钱看来蛮引诱的！
如果预算案宣布时，酒类的罪恶征税没有太高的话，此时候应当是慢慢地买进积蓄的时候了。
