我现在在新西兰，已经来了有四个多月了。我是在今年三月分来的，曾经在Waiheke island（35mins ferry ride from Auckland to Waiheke island)做剪葡萄的工作。老板好，工资不错$13.00，。现在我人在Tekapo是一个很美和悠闲的地方，在这里我做room attendent，老板好，工资$13.5，free accommodation...如有兴趣可以联络我。
我有在NZ用couchsurfing program， 体验了给当地人host的经验。

我在Auckland, Kerikeri, Whangarei, Hamilton, Taupo, Rotorua,Hasting和Nelson都有玩couchsurfing。接下来的旅行也会玩couchsurfing。你呢？

朋友介绍的。我的working holiday visa在九月到期玩完新西兰我会飞去澳洲旅行一个月然后十月尾就回马来西亚。你还在新西兰吗？

请问现在有没有人在Wellington?我前天刚到。。目前在Palmerston North。我想在Wellington找工作。。或是其他地方也可以。。只要交通方便。。因为不会开车。。谢谢

我想确定以下， 办 visa 的手续就只是上网申请，找到工作后再申请IRD no . 就酱而已？？

然后， 申请visa 也不需要亲自到移民厅去，也不需什么身体健康检查报告咯？

本楼主太忙了，那就让我来代回答您所要的答案吧。
1) 办 visa 的手续就只是上网申请
     对，没错只是上网申请(但最近的申请很麻烦咯，之后还会需要您回答几道问题和文件。)
2) 找到工作后再申请IRD no .
    如果可以，当你到达了NZ，有了固定的地址后，马上申请IRD吧。方便你以后找工的时候用刀。
3) 申请visa 也不需要亲自到移民厅去，也不需什么身体健康检查报告咯.
    对，全部不需要。

我是想来new zealand 玩，和做做下partime 工酱，
如果可以的话，part time 的工赚到的钱可以给我花在玩和吃和住就可以了。

With working holiday visa, i work legally at NZ... hence... i entitled for tax... Gross earning of kiwi packing is 10.50 NZD per hour, everyday we can work up to 10 hours, but from that total gross, 20% tax filtered before bank in to your account. Not too bad, at least i can earn up to ~80 NZD per day. How about picking? By theory, picking should earn more, because is about how much you can pick in 8 hours and how many of you in the team. But when the team is not balance, you know what happen, even football team need some activity or training to create team work, i know my team mate base on my understanding when the supervisor distributing gear to me and say which bin and line to go...
As the result, gross is very subjective, in lump sum, i pick for 5.5 days, and the nett gross i gain is 482 NZD... More gross compared, less working compared, more tired compared...
20% tax is high? I guess that apply to all citizen of NZ, i don't know what the government going to do with that amount, but as a traveller in NZD, i notice:--- @I can enter all the national park including world heritage spot without any cost, just cost you need to pay for guide or transport. @I can enter most state museum FREE, including few best museum i ever visit. @I can reach I-Site or tourism information centre in any place easily and get friendly service, good info plus smile and is FREE... @I can use all the public toilet FREE plus some automatic toilet across NZ, and is clean, even for some rural area, hole digged for the temporally toilet is very deep, although you can see accumulated dung in the hole, you wont smell it, i guess climate of NZ cause that or the team have a good control on the 'cycle life' of a temporary toilet... Last but not least, i love nature... i allow them to spend the my tax balance to help the earth...
Back to money talk, total gross for 5.5 weeks in tepuke is 2.1k NZD, good enough to support the rest of my kiwi journey... stay tuned...
