Description	FINAL DIVIDEND
We wish to inform that the Board of Directors’ of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata” or “Company”), had on 22 February 2018 declared a final tax exempt dividend under single tier system of 3.5 sen per ordinary share of the Company (“Axiata Share”) in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2017 (“Final Dividend”). The Board of Directors also determined that the Company’s Dividend Reinvestment Scheme (“DRS”) will apply to the Final Dividend, whereby shareholders will be given the option to elect to reinvest the whole or part of the dividend into new Axiata Shares. The listing of and quotation for the new Axiata Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS will be subject to the approval of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) of which an application will be submitted in due course. The decision of Bursa Securities and details of entitlement and payment dates of the above said dividend will be determined and announced in due course. This announcement is dated 22 February 2018.

Description	ALLOTMENT OF IDEA SHARES UNDER QUALIFIED INSTITUTIONAL PLACEMENT (QIP)
We refer to our announcement on 13 February 2018 on the Preferential Issuance of Idea Shares. Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the above announcement. Following further notification by Idea on the allotment of 424,242,424 Idea Shares at an issue price of INR82.50 per Idea Share aggregating to INR35.0 billion to eligible qualified institutional buyers in the QIP to the NSE dated 23 February 2018, Axiata wishes to announce further dilution of Axiata Group’s shareholding in Idea from 18.10% to 16.34%. 天地通拨13亿资本开销　强化网络提高客户体验

（吉隆坡8日讯）天地通（Celcom）今年將耗资12亿至13亿令吉的资本开销，以提高网络效率和覆盖率、加强电子化系统，及提升客户体验。

天地通在今年的资本开销低于去年的15亿令吉，该公司首席財务员黄翠芬指出，去年需要动用较高的资本开销，主要用作网络覆盖率和设备基础，今年则旨在强化网络的素质和提高客户体验。

目前，天地通的4G和LTE-A的覆盖率，分別为87%和74%。展望今年，大部份的资本开销仍用在网络开支，如砂拉越和东马区的网络设备基础，同时亦会斥资2000万至3000万令吉，以提升Blue Cube专卖店。

天地通客户服务和体验部首席官员雷尼威纳表示，目前共有60家Blue Cube专卖店，其中6家至8家已完成提升工程，计划在今年为60%至80%的专卖店展开提升工作。

维持盈利有挑战

询及高额的资本支出会否压缩赚幅和盈利表现，黄氏表示，天地通持续斥资提升网络设备，促使成本走高在所难免，但是只要能妥善控制成本，相信不成问题。

「儘管我们承担高额的成本压力，但是电讯如今是生活必需品，因此持续提升网络和基础设备是正確的策略。」

惟，她也表示，「我们的盈利表现尚算稳健，但是维持盈利表现具挑战性，所以我们必须关注和良好地控制成本。」

她出席天地通透过连线直播举行业绩匯报会后，向媒体如是指出，其他出席者尚有天地通首席执行员麦克库纳、商业营运副首席执行员阿兹万甘。

末季盈利升20%

天地通2017財政年末季（截至去年12月31日止）营业额按年涨8%，至17亿7700万令吉，前期为16亿4600万令吉；正常化税后盈利（PATAMI）按年升19.5%，至3亿3600万令吉，前期为2亿8100万令吉；

同时，该公司的未扣除利息、税项、折旧及摊销前盈利（EBITDA），则从前期的6亿3500万令吉，按年增15.7%，至7亿3400万令吉。

至于服务营业额，从前期的15亿2400万令吉，按年扬升2.6%，至15亿6200万令吉；数据营业额佔总营收的43%，则按年增长25%，至7亿6700万令吉。

全年而言，天地通在2017財政年终止3连跌，总营业额按年微吉隆坡8日讯│天地通（Celcom）今年將耗资12亿至13亿令吉的资本开销，以提高网络效率和覆盖率、加强电子化系统，及提升客户体验。

升0.6%，至66亿6200万令吉。其中，服务营收从前期的按年略起0.5%，至60亿5600万令吉。

同时，全年的PATAMI和EBITDA则各扬升1.4%和4.5%，分別至12亿4500万令吉及26亿3900万令吉。

2017財政年末季的后付用户收入按季增1.7%，至6亿零600万令吉；预付用户收入则按季升0.4%，至5亿9600万令吉。

在每用户平均收入（ARPU）方面，后付用户从去年第3季的84令吉令吉，增长至87令吉，获益于签购较高价的配套；而预付用户则增至34令吉，去年第3季为33令吉。至于用户人数，后付用户按季下滑1.4%，至282万2000人，预付用户按季挫1.25%，至672万4000人。【东方网财经】

子公司表现好坏参半　亚通首季盈利料持平

（吉隆坡16日讯）由于多家子公司將出现季节性疲软的表现，而数码方面的投资，也仍处于过渡期亏损。因此，即使亚通（AXIATA，6888，主板贸服股）的成本撙节措施奏效，分析员认为，该公司即將出炉的2018財政年首季（截至3月31日止）核心盈利，仅能维持和上一季相同的表现或稍微下滑。

亚通预计在下周二（22日）公佈2018財政年首季业绩。兴业投行分析员指出，亚通旗下子公司表现料好坏参半，当中，季节性因素或激烈竞爭导致天地通和印尼XL亚通首季业绩按季趋软，印度Idea Cellular持续蒙受亏损。

他补充，由于亚通在Idea Cellular的持股率从去年末季的19.8%，稀释至16.3%，预计得认列总值3亿9300万令吉的账面亏损。

除此之外，该公司还得承担数码投资过渡期亏损。亚通打算在今年拨出2亿至2亿5000万令吉，投资于数码项目。

「不过，隨著斯里兰卡亚通Dialog、尼泊尔Ncell和Edotco集团表现向好，加上成本撙节措施有效，亚通2018財政年首季核心盈利料按季持平或稍微减少。」

针对各子公司的表现，兴业投行分析员认为，天地通將与其他同业一样，受季节性因素和末季较低的市场营销支出影响，而面临盈利按季减少的局面。

至于XL亚通，虽然首季营业额跑贏同业，但在数据赚幅（Data Yield）受压和较高的营销支出之下，该公司税前盈利连续第2个季度呈跌，按季减少6.2%。

维持「守住」评级

另外，该分析员把Dialog公司营业额和税前盈利各按季增长5%和9%，归功于固定或家庭宽频和付费电视业务，以及成本效益。

整体而言，在首季业绩出炉之前，兴业投行分析员维持亚通「守住」投资评级和目標价5.30令吉。

另外，亚通傍晚发文告表示，edotco巴基斯坦公司，获得巴基斯坦国家银行批准能向当地银行贷款，来收购Deodar公司旗下的1万3000座电讯塔。【东方网财经】
