慕尤丁斥林冠英“做蠢事”
副首相兼国阵署理主席慕尤丁炮轰，槟州首长林冠英呼吁民众穿黄绿红颜色衣服观赏韩国歌手PSY演出，分明是存心政治化及破坏槟国阵的新春团拜。
他今午在一间酒店与来自345个槟国阵竞选行动中心的逾千名党员共餐后，在记者会上指出，“这是一个愚蠢的做法（kerja bodoh），却自以为很聪明。”
慕尤丁也表示，团拜是为了恭贺新禧及一团和气，林冠英的举动仅会令人觉得他凡事都要政治化。

Muhyiddin ticks off Guan Eng for politicising BN Chinese New Year party
GEORGE TOWN, Feb 5 — Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin criticised Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng for politicising the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) Chinese New Year celebration that will be featuring K-Pop sensation Psy.
“This is a festive celebration for the people so why is he bringing politics into this by telling the public to wear red, green and yellow? This is foolish,” the deputy prime minister told reporters during his visit here today. He was responding to Lim’s calls to those attending the celebration at the Han Chiang school grounds next week to dress in the colours related to several causes. Muhyiddin said Lim’s call to the public to wear these colours was obviously an attempt to create mischief and to disrupt the celebration. “Why else would he ask people to wear Bersih’s colour or green or red if it is not to instigate the public and to create an unpleasant atmosphere?” he added. He said Lim could also attend the celebration but he should respect that this was a festive celebration for the people. “He should respect our right to hold that event just like we respect their right to hold their own Chinese New Year open house for the public,” he said. The celebration is expected to draw up to 60,000 people and the highlight will be a performance of the “Oppa Gangnam Style” song and dance by Korean rap star Psy. Psy, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, will be performing alongside Asian Wave 2012 champion Shila Amzah while other performances such as lion dances, dragon dance and chingay have been lined up. Muhyiddin also confirmed that the whole event was privately sponsored and not paid by BN. A BN official had earlier revealed that Psy’s appearance as a guest at the event was arranged and sponsored by event organiser Mega Ultimate. The social media has been rife with criticisms by the public over the assumption that BN had paid more RM2 million to the South Korean superstar to perform the famous song here. The Penang BN Chinese New Year open house is believed to be an attempt to draw more support, especially from the youths, especially when it is being held on the very location that launched the DAP to victory in 2008.
